The Flask of Wondrous Physick is a customizable, single-use-per-rest flask found at the Third Church of Marika in Limgrave. Mix up to two Crystal Tears at a Site of Grace to choose its effects; resting at a Site of Grace restores its charge.
Where to find the Flask of Wondrous Physick
Look for the flask in a basin at the Third Church of Marika in Limgrave. See the Eldenpedia item reference for the item’s location and acquisition details.
If you have not obtained it before defeating two Shardbearers, the item reference says you can buy it from the Twin Maiden Husks for 500 runes.
How to mix Crystal Tears
- Collect Crystal Tears. Minor Erdtrees are one source; the Bandai Namco starter guide also notes that tears can be found throughout the game.
- Rest at a Site of Grace and choose the option to mix a Wondrous Physick.
- Select up to two of the Crystal Tears you have acquired, then confirm the mixture. The selected tears determine the flask’s effects, as the Bandai Namco gameplay guide explains.
The in-game description, reproduced in the item reference, puts it simply: “Various special effects are bestowed upon the drinker, dependent on the specific mixture of crystal tears.”

When the flask refills—and how it differs from other flasks
The Flask of Wondrous Physick has one charge. Resting at a Site of Grace replenishes it, so you can use it again after resting. Unlike the Crimson and Cerulean flasks, which restore HP and FP respectively, the Physick’s effect comes from the Crystal Tears in its current mixture.

Choose tears for the effect you need and the build or encounter you are preparing for. The sources linked here establish the mixing system but do not provide a complete, patch-verified catalogue of every tear’s current effect, so check an up-to-date item reference when deciding between specific combinations.
