To reach Castle Sol, enter the Mountaintops of the Giants using the ordinary Rold Medallion at the Grand Lift of Rold, then travel north from Snow Valley Ruins Overlook. Pass the giant-skeleton graveyard, descend, and approach the castle from the east. The entrance is marked by the Castle Sol Main Gate Site of Grace.
Reach the Mountaintops of the Giants
Castle Sol is at the far northern edge of the Mountaintops of the Giants. You reach this region by progressing through Leyndell and using the Grand Lift of Rold with the ordinary Rold Medallion.
Travel from Snow Valley Ruins Overlook to Castle Sol
- Start at the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook Site of Grace and head north.
- Continue toward the graveyard populated by giant skeletons.
- Descend from the graveyard and make your way east toward Castle Sol.
- Enter at the Castle Sol Main Gate Site of Grace.
The approach is guarded by a Tibia Mariner and a Death Rite Bird. The route details here follow secondary game-location and guide references, which agree on the northern location and eastern approach; they do not establish a universally safest path.
What Castle Sol unlocks
Castle Sol’s key progression reward is the left half of the Haligtree Secret Medallion. Commander Niall is the castle’s major progression gate: defeat him, then continue through the area beyond his boss room to obtain the medallion half.

Pair it with the right half found in the Village of the Albinaurics, then present the completed secret medallion at the Grand Lift of Rold to reach the Consecrated Snowfield. This is separate from the ordinary Rold Medallion used earlier to enter the Mountaintops of the Giants.
