How to change or reset a Shifting Earth
- To reset Limveld: Go to Roundtable Hold and sleep in the bed. This returns the map to its default configuration, according to Bandai Namco’s Advanced Tips.
- To trigger a Shifting Earth manually: Inspect the Collector Signboard in Roundtable Hold and choose from the options currently shown in game. Bandai Namco’s version 1.02 patch notes confirm the signboard can trigger a Shifting Earth, but do not describe the button-by-button sequence or state a currency requirement.
When Shifting Earth appears normally
Shifting Earth changes parts of Limveld, revealing altered areas, structures, enemies, and bosses; some changes can provide unique buffs or upgrades. Bandai Namco says the world usually shifts to a new configuration after a successful expedition. Version 1.02 adjusted the probability of Shifting Earth appearing, but the patch notes do not give a numeric rate.

If sleeping in the bed does not reset the map
Update the game and try the bed again. Version 1.02 fixed a bug in which the bed could fail to reset Limveld after a player changed playable character and triggered an event at the Collector Signboard.
The Great Hollows and Deep of Night
The Forsaken Hollows DLC adds The Great Hollows as a Shifting Earth. Its unlock path is separate from the base-game reset: Bandai Namco’s DLC unlock instructions require defeating at least two main-game bosses, including Tricephalos, and making Scholar and Undertaker playable before challenging The Great Hollows and the Balancers.

In Deep of Night, DLC additions require matchmaking with three players who own the DLC. Bandai Namco’s version 1.03.2 patch notes report an adjusted appearance rate for DLC Shifting Earth in that mode when matched only with DLC owners. These DLC conditions concern access and matchmaking; they do not change how the bed resets the base map.
