The ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN network test ran February 14–17, 2025, and its January registration window has closed. There is no way to join that completed test now. It was held on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S; PC, PS4, and Xbox One were not test platforms. Bandai Namco’s announcement confirms the test platforms and overall dates.
When did the Nightreign network test take place?
The test ran across five scheduled sessions from February 14 through February 17, 2025. The session-by-session times below were reported in Central European Time (CET) by PCGamesN.

The official Japanese announcement gives the start as February 14 at 20:00 Japan Standard Time, consistent with the first listed session. See FromSoftware’s announcement. Times above are CET, not local times for every reader.
Can you still register or join?
No. Registration for the completed test is closed. Bandai Namco Europe’s rules set the application period at January 10, 2025, 3 p.m. CEST through January 20, 2025, 3 p.m. CEST. Test codes and session access were tied to that event; buying the released game does not grant access to it.

How registration worked
For the Europe-organized application, eligible applicants used the designated website and completed these steps during the open registration period:
- Log in to a Bandai Namco Europe account or create one.
- Choose PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
- Complete the application form and make the required data-processing consent selection.
- Confirm the application on screen.
Bandai Namco Europe’s rules prohibited multiple applications or accounts. Those rules applied to residents of listed territories and required applicants to be at least 18; these are Europe-specific terms and should not be treated as universal requirements for every region. The rules described selection as first come, first served and allocated 97,923 codes across the covered territory: 85,025 for PS5 and 12,898 for Xbox Series X|S. Winner notifications were scheduled for January 30, 2025, at 3 p.m. CEST, with code delivery scheduled for February 11 at 3 p.m. CEST; non-winners would not receive an email. Which platforms were eligible?
The network test was limited to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Applicants had to select one of those two platforms. The later full-game release supports a broader list, but that should not be confused with test eligibility.

What did the test include?
Bandai Namco described a cooperative test for groups of up to three players. Its purpose was to assess network infrastructure, not to provide the final game. The Europe participation rules warned that the development build could freeze or crash and would differ from the finished release.
What can you do if you missed it?
ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN launched on May 30, 2025, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The official launch announcement says the game can be played without owning the original ELDEN RING and identifies PS5 and PS4 package editions.
