What the Rotted Woods Shifting Earth event changes
Shifting Earth is an Expedition condition that alters Limveld, revealing different terrain, structures, enemies, bosses, and buffs; it is not a separate campaign. Bandai Namco describes the event system in its Official Starter Guide. Guides place the Rotted Woods in Limveld’s southeast and report Scarlet Rot buildup while traversing the area (NoobFeed, 7 June 2025; PowerPyx, 30 May 2025).

How to find the secret blessing
- Locate the fort in the forest. Head into the Rotted Woods area during an Expedition when this Shifting Earth configuration is active.
- Check the map table. Inspect the table in the fort to reveal the red marker for the blessing.
- Follow the marker. The destination is a flower in the Woods. The route may involve climbing or jumping onto a raised structure.
- Interact with the flower. The walkthroughs report that this grants the blessing. Because its marked position can vary, follow the marker for the current Expedition rather than memorizing a coordinate (NoobFeed; PowerPyx).
Manage Scarlet Rot and Expedition time
Scarlet Rot buildup makes the route a traversal hazard, not just a navigation puzzle. Plan a reasonably direct trip from the fort, and avoid unnecessary exposure while you search for the elevated flower. If Rot is making the crossing difficult, NoobFeed’s June 2025 walkthrough suggests using gear or consumables that improve Rot resistance; it is optional preparation, not a required build.
Nightreign’s Expedition loop gives exploration a time cost: Bandai Namco’s starter guide says each Expedition has two in-game days of exploration with mandatory night boss encounters, followed by a third-day showdown with a Nightlord avatar. Factor that schedule into deciding whether to detour for the blessing.

What the blessing does—and what it does not guarantee
NoobFeed’s 7 June 2025 walkthrough describes the blessing as granting Scarlet Rot immunity, increasing maximum HP, and letting attacks recover HP after you take damage. Those effects come from a secondary guide, not a current official mechanic entry; check the in-game tooltip when you collect it to confirm the effect wording in your version.
Do not confuse this blessing with Expedition completion rewards. Bandai Namco says completing a Shifting Earth condition awards a rewards cache with randomized choices; that general rule does not establish a specific Rotted Woods drop (Official Starter Guide).

If the marker is missing or the event does not appear
Bandai Namco’s version 1.02 patch notes say they fixed a case where the Shifting Earth map marker could disappear under certain conditions. The notes also say the probability of Shifting Earth occurring was adjusted, but publish no rate. Therefore, neither a missing marker nor a run without the event establishes a fixed spawn rule or a guaranteed trigger sequence. Check the map table when the event is active; if a marker that should be there is absent, consult the current in-game map and patch information rather than relying on a fixed location (Bandai Namco, version 1.02 patch notes).
