The Forsaken Hollows launched on December 4, 2025, so there is no longer a release countdown. It is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The original schedule set console availability for midnight on December 4 and Steam downloads for 00:00 UTC that day.
When did The Forsaken Hollows release?
Bandai Namco confirmed the expansion was available worldwide on December 4, 2025. Its original schedule listed different launch timing for consoles and Steam:
| Platform | Announced start | What that means now |
|---|---|---|
| PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 | December 4, 2025 at 00:00, as shown on the Japanese official schedule | Available since launch. Check the PlayStation Store if you need to activate or download it. |
| Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One | December 4, 2025 at 00:00, as shown on the Japanese official schedule | Available since launch. Players with an existing entitlement may need to manage the add-on. |
| Steam | December 4, 2025 at 08:00 JST / 00:00 UTC | Available since launch. Bandai Namco scheduled automatic downloads for this time. |
Steam’s store listing displays December 3, 2025 as its release date, but that listing date is distinct from the publisher’s cross-platform schedule. The publisher’s December 2 guide specified that Steam automatic downloads would begin at 8:00 AM JST / 00:00 UTC on December 4. Bandai Namco’s launch-time guide and the official Japanese site published the schedule; Steam’s store page shows its listing date.
Is there a countdown clock?
No. The release date has passed, and the expansion is already available. A countdown to the original launch would be misleading. Bandai Namco’s December 4 announcement confirmed worldwide availability for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Unlock Scholar and Undertaker
Defeat Tricephalos, then follow the Roundtable Hold lead from the Iron Menial to the Small Jar Merchant. For the Balancers boss expedition, the official guide says you need at least two main-game boss victories, including Tricephalos, and must make both added Nightfarers playable. Then visit the chapel behind the Small Jar Merchant.
Added content in Deep of Night
DLC-added Shifting Earth, raid events, and bases can appear in Deep of Night after the update, but the official guidance limits these additions to matchmaking with three DLC owners.
