In Elden Ring, you can collect Ghost Glovewort [8] in Nokstella, Eternal City, and Mohgwyn Palace, or buy more from the Twin Maiden Husks after giving them Ghost-Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [3]. The base-game pickups are one-time finds; the merchant is the repeatable option.
What Ghost Glovewort [8] is used for
Ghost Glovewort [8] strengthens renowned spirit ashes to +8. It is part of the Ghost Glovewort upgrade path, not the separate Grave Glovewort path used for other ashes. Eldenpedia’s item description reads: “White flower that blooms in catacombs. A spirit nestles close to it. Strengthens renowned ashes to +8. Ashes which keep their renown even after death cannot be strengthened by merely corporeal glovewort.”
Base-game Ghost Glovewort [8] locations
The base game has five reported pickups: four in Nokstella and one in Mohgwyn Palace. These are free, one-time pickups. Game8’s location guide was last updated July 9, 2024; item placements may be affected by later game updates.
Nokstella, Eternal City: four pickups
- Find two under the bridge in Nokstella, Eternal City.
- Find two more along the riverbanks north of the Nokstella Water Basin Site of Grace.
Mohgwyn Palace: one pickup
Look for one near a cave along the east rock wall of Mohgwyn Palace.

How to buy more from the Twin Maiden Husks
- Travel to Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree, and reach the graveyard north of the Haligtree Roots Site of Grace.
- Pick up Ghost-Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [3] in that graveyard.
- Offer the bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold.
- Buy Ghost Glovewort [8] from their shop for 9,000 runes per item.
Unlike the map pickups, the shop provides a repeatable supply once the bearing has been handed in. The 9,000-rune figure is the in-game listed price.

The DLC adds one reported Ghost Glovewort [8] in Scorpion River Catacombs. It is on a corpse at the end of the room beyond a giant cannon imp and caster enemies. This pickup requires Shadow of the Erdtree; it is not available to players exploring only the base game.
