Eleonora’s Poleblade is a twinblade dropped by Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger, at the Second Church of Marika in Altus Plateau. It requires Strength, Dexterity, and Arcane, and comes with the unique Bloodblade Dance skill, which cannot be replaced.
Where to get Eleonora’s Poleblade
Defeat the invader Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger, at the Second Church of Marika in Altus Plateau. The community-maintained Eldenpedia weapon reference lists the Poleblade as her guaranteed drop. The page does not specify a patch or game-version snapshot.
Requirements and listed base stats
| Stat | Listed value |
|---|---|
| Strength requirement | 12 (8 when two-handing) |
| Dexterity requirement | 21 |
| Arcane requirement | 19 |
| Physical attack power | 72 |
| Fire attack power | 72 |
| Blood-loss buildup | 55 |
| Weight | 6.0 |
These are the values listed by the cited reference, not a patch-specific guarantee. It classifies the weapon’s attack type as Standard/Pierce and lists both physical and fire damage alongside innate blood-loss buildup.
Bloodblade Dance and customization
Bloodblade Dance is the Poleblade’s unique weapon skill. The reference says neither the skill nor the weapon’s affinity can be changed, and spells or consumables cannot buff it. It also notes that the heavy attack performs multiple spinning hits; this is a separate attack behavior from the named skill.

What the weapon is
The game’s item description calls it a “Twinned naginata forged in the Land of Reeds” and says it was chosen by Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger. It describes her sword mastery as an onslaught “likened to a whirlwind,” while noting that her legacy is now stained by accursed blood.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Build considerations
The listed requirements make Dexterity and Arcane the key thresholds to meet alongside Strength; two-handing lowers the Strength requirement to 8. Because its skill and affinity are fixed and it cannot be buffed with spells or consumables, plan around its built-in fire damage, blood-loss buildup, and Bloodblade Dance rather than expecting to configure it like a weapon with replaceable Ashes of War. The cited reference provides no comparative testing or ranking against other weapons.
