To find the six collectible duck variants in ARC Raiders, enter Buried City while the Bird City map condition is active, then search rooftop chimneys and bird nests. Nest loot is randomized, so you may need several runs. Community-designed ducks are a separate case: Embark distributed them through an inbox message, and its reminder said that message would stop being sent after October 8, 2026.
Where to find the six duck variants
- Check the map-condition schedule. Look for Bird City — Buried City in the in-game schedule or on the official ARC Raiders website. Conditions rotate, so a fixed timetable in an older guide may no longer apply.
- Queue for Buried City while Bird City is active. The guides identify this combination as the route for the six added variants.
- Search rooftop chimneys and nests. Community guides report nests on Italian-style buildings with terracotta roofs, rather than modern buildings. Treat that as guide-reported field detail, not an official guarantee about every spawn.
- Loot each nest you reach. Nests can contain ducks, other trinkets, or materials, and their contents vary. No particular chimney is documented as a guaranteed duck spawn.
- Repeat on later Bird City runs. The available guides do not establish a guaranteed number of runs or an average drop rate for completing the set.
The six variants listed by the guides are Tropical Duck, Gentle Duck, Alien Duck, Doodly Duck, Flashy Duck, and Familiar Duck, alongside the original Rubber Duck. Insider Gaming’s January 28, 2026 guide and the ARC Raiders Hub guide published January 27, 2026 describe the route and variants; these are guides, not official drop-rate data.
What is known about variant values
The ARC Raiders Hub’s January 27, 2026 guide reports the following sell values. These are community-guide figures, not independently confirmed post-update prices.

The original Rubber Duck: keep it if you still need it for quests
The community-maintained ARC Raiders Hub item database lists the original Rubber Duck as a Common Trinket obtainable by scavenging. It reports a weight of 0.3 kg, a stack size of 15, a sell price of 1,000, and that it cannot be recycled. The database also lists two quest requirements involving the duck, so consider keeping one until those needs are met. These item details may change with patches. See the Rubber Duck item entry.

Community-designed ducks are distinct from the six nest-found variants. In its September 8, 2026 Live Update 1.45.0 announcement, Embark Studios said the selected community designs had been added and directed players to Bird City and the Raider Den: “Head on over to Bird City and display them proudly in your Raider Den!” The announcement names designers gekko.rar, im_AshCheeks, and nassguhl. A separate official reminder said: “After October 8th, the inbox message that contains the community-made Rubber Ducks will no longer be sent out. Make sure to log in and claim them before that deadline.” October 8, 2026 has arrived; the notice establishes that the message would no longer be sent after that date, but does not say whether an already received, unclaimed message can still be claimed or recovered.
