Also keep the demo status in mind when describing the issue. The Steam listing says demo character data will be reset when full service begins. Steam’s missing-executable guidance identifies antivirus interference, a corrupted file, or a failed download as possible causes. Check your antivirus or Windows security protection history for a detection involving the demo or its installation. If a file was quarantined, review the detection details and restore or allow it only if you trust that it belongs to the official installation. Requirements are only one part of the diagnosis. Meeting the published minimum does not rule out damaged files, a security-software detection, or an issue at STOVE sign-in or anti-cheat startup.
