There was no universal Escape from Tarkov rare-loot code in the official August 2026 promotion. Battlestate Games instead offered free Twitch Drops for watching eligible streams, alongside a separate set of exclusive items that required five paid Twitch subscriptions. Both campaign windows have ended.
Was the Escape from Tarkov rare loot code real?
The official announcement describes a Twitch Drops campaign, not a general code that anyone could enter to claim rare loot. It offered two different reward paths, with different requirements and dates. Battlestate Games’ campaign announcement set the terms; an official Escape from Tarkov Telegram reminder confirmed the end date.
Free Drops: what watching could earn
From August 5 through August 17, 2026, the global campaign offered reward containers in Common, Rare, and Epic tiers for watching streams in the Escape from Tarkov category. The announcement did not describe these as a currently redeemable code.
- You needed a Twitch account and an active copy of Escape from Tarkov.
- Your Twitch and game accounts had to be linked to receive or distribute Drops.
- The containers were available only to a seasonal character.
The campaign began at 2:00 PM BST / 9:00 AM EDT on August 5. The official Telegram reminder said it ended August 17 at 2:00 PM BST / 9:00 AM EDT.

Paid-subscription rewards: the catch
A separate promotion, running August 5–8, offered three named items: the Hot Rod beverage cooler bag, Loui Peeton deluxe wallet, and Twitch rare dogtag case. Each required five paid subscriptions—regular or gifted—purchased from a streamer who was live in the Escape from Tarkov category at the time. Renewals counted, and for gifted subscriptions the purchaser received the reward.
Free subscriptions did not qualify. The announcement explicitly excluded Amazon Prime, Bits, and similar offers. Rewards could be claimed once per Twitch and Battlestate Games account. Unlike the viewing Drops, these subscription items were described as available across PvE, PvP, and Season.

Can you still claim the August 2026 loot?
No: the named campaign ended August 17, 2026. Twitch’s general Drops guidance says the usual sequence is to earn a Drop, claim it in Twitch, and then wait for the game developer to deliver it. It also says unclaimed rewards can be claimed from Drops Inventory for up to seven days after a campaign ends. That general guidance does not establish that these particular Tarkov rewards remain claimable now or that every reward used the same delivery route.
No current universal Tarkov loot code is established by the campaign announcement or reminder. These sources do not resolve whether a different promotion or code is active on October 8, 2026, so treat any claim of a currently valid code as unverified unless Battlestate Games confirms it.
