The mounted Utyos machine gun is inside an office in the Tarbank building on Ground Zero. Look for the level labeled 5 and reach it by the stairwell on the Tarbank side, passing through the barbed wire. Guides describe this level as either the third or fifth floor, so use the building and route landmarks rather than floor wording alone.
Where is the Utyos machine gun on Ground Zero?
Search the Tarbank building, also called the Empire high-rise in some guides. The Utyos is mounted in an office on the level identified by TarkovHead as the third floor labeled 5. Tarkov.help calls it the fifth floor. These descriptions point to the same building and numbered level, but the floor terminology differs across guides.
How to reach the Utyos
- Go to the Tarbank building on Ground Zero.
- Use the stairwell on the Tarbank side of the building.
- Pass through the barbed wire and continue to the level labeled 5.
- Look in the office for the mounted Utyos.
The Tarbank-side stairwell and office are the most useful route cues if a guide’s floor count does not match what you see in-game. Tarkov.help describes the barbed-wire route; TarkovHead and Mr. Souer identify the destination as the third floor labeled 5. Tarkov.help’s Ground Zero guide and TarkovHead’s Shooting Cans guide provide the location details.
How the Utyos fits into Shooting Cans
Shooting Cans is a Prapor task with three objectives: locate the Utyos, locate the AGS, and eliminate five targets on Ground Zero. Tarkov.help specifies that you must visit the weapon locations as a PMC and says the task is available in PvP. Do not confuse finding the Utyos with completing the full task.

Where to find the AGS
TarkovHead places the AGS in a back office on the third floor of Capital Insight. It is separate from the Utyos in Tarbank, so visiting one weapon does not locate the other.
Target eliminations
The guides describe the five eliminations as targets such as Scavs or PMCs. The Utyos and AGS are location objectives; the eliminations are a separate part of the task.

Using a Ground Zero map
TarkovWiki’s interactive Ground Zero map can help with general map orientation and shows features such as extracts, boss spawns, locked doors, transits, and hazards. It is a general map aid; the page does not establish a verified Utyos marker.

TarkovHead and Mr. Souer call the destination the third floor labeled 5, while Tarkov.help calls it the fifth floor. Since the sources converge on Tarbank/Empire and the level marked 5, navigate by those landmarks and the Tarbank-side stairwell rather than relying on a floor count alone. Quest details and map geometry can change after game updates, so check the live location if the route differs after a patch.
