For Therapist’s Seaside Vacation task, find the informant’s briefcase beneath a bed on the second floor of a western shore-side house on Lighthouse. Pick it up, extract from the raid with it, then hand over the package to Therapist.
Seaside Vacation objectives and location
Therapist gives this Lighthouse task. Its two objectives are to locate and obtain the informant’s briefcase, then hand over the package. Current task listings place it in one of the western houses beside the shore. Tarkov101’s Patch 1.0 task page describes the location as beneath a bed on the house’s second floor.
How to find the briefcase
- Go to the western houses along the Lighthouse shoreline.
- Cross the small bridge to the relevant house and enter the first room on the left.
- Check beneath the bed beside the window on the second floor. The item is identified as a laptop with information. TarkovHead’s location guide gives these room and bed details.
- Interact with the item to collect it. It should move into your quest-item inventory while Seaside Vacation is active.
Extract before handing it in
The briefcase is a quest handover item available only while Seaside Vacation is active. After collecting it, survive the raid and extract: the item is lost if you fail to extract. Once back from the raid with the package, complete the hand-in objective with Therapist.
Kappa status, unlock, rewards, and level requirement
Tarkov101 marks Seaside Vacation as not required for the Kappa Secure Container and lists Abandoned Cargo as an unlock. This is useful if you are prioritizing Kappa-related tasks, but the quest still has its own hand-in objectives.
#1 Best Overall
- Custom made based on beanie from Escape from Tarkov
- A great gift for the holidays or to add to your Tarkov collection
- Perfect for raiding!
Current 2026 references list 28,000 EXP and +0.75 Therapist reputation; a Japanese EFT wiki page last modified 2026-10-07 also lists a reward of 275,000 roubles. See TarkovForge’s 2026 quest page and the Japanese EFT wiki entry. An older Fandom quest table instead shows 8,000 EXP, +0.02 Therapist reputation, 50,000 roubles, and an Aluminum splint purchase unlock, so do not rely on that older listing for current rewards. Check the task screen in your live game if exact rewards matter.
The required level is not established consistently: TarkovHead lists level 1, while the older Fandom result says level 17, and Tarkov101 does not give a requirement. Check the in-game task screen rather than assuming either figure applies to your version.
