Speed, carry capacity, and rebirth help—but each pays off only when your runs and rebuilds are manageable.
Roblox’s official game listing describes the core loop as grabbing Brainrots, upgrading them to earn money, and upgrading your base for more slots. The detailed progression advice below comes from All Things How’s guide, updated January 16, 2026; it is secondary-source guidance, not a tested speedrun or guaranteed earnings plan.
How the money loop works
Brainrots placed in your base generate passive income, according to the All Things How guide. It identifies rarity, mutation, and level as factors in a unit’s value, while cash can be reinvested in speed, Brainrot levels, and base capacity. The practical aim is to improve the quality and earning power of the units occupying your slots, while making it safer to collect stronger ones.
What to upgrade first
Start by placing the best units you already have
Use available Brainrots rather than waiting for ideal drops. All Things How recommends placing free Epics such as Sigma Boy and Guesto Angelico near the base, then putting early income into those units’ levels and an initial speed upgrade. Their free availability can change, so check what the current game offers before planning around either one.

Raise speed to reach stronger zones
Speed can help you travel to areas with better Brainrots and return before a wave catches you. All Things How gives roughly 140 speed as an indicative benchmark for reaching the Cosmic wall. That is a secondary guide’s approximate figure, not an official threshold; balance updates or your current route may change what you need.
Choose valuable pickups over a full load of weak ones
Once you can safely reach deeper areas, the guide recommends prioritizing Secrets and Celestials over filling your base with low-value Brainrots. A deep run is a risk-versus-return decision: slower waves can offer a better opportunity to travel farther, while fast or lightning waves make a greedy trip more dangerous. If a rare Celestial is especially valuable, returning with that one pickup may be wiser than risking it to collect more.

Build around rarity, mutation, and level
All Things How highlights Electric and Diamond mutations and recommends focusing on mutated Secrets before you can build a collection of mutated Celestials. This is a guide’s suggested priority, not a verified current ranking. In general, compare the likely income of a unit with its level-up cost and the slot it occupies; a rare, mutated unit is not automatically the best next investment if upgrading it would leave your collection or runs underpowered.
Concentrate your level-ups
The guide advises upgrading your strongest earners instead of spreading cash evenly. Its suggested order is mutated Celestials, mutated Secrets, normal Celestials, then early Epics or mid-tier units. Use that as a decision framework rather than a fixed rule: the best target depends on which Brainrots you actually own and the cost of the next upgrade.

When to buy more base space or carry capacity
Expand the base when you can fill the new slots well
More slots and floors create room for additional income-producing Brainrots, but empty or weakly filled space does not help much. All Things How suggests expanding when you can populate the added capacity with several Secrets or better. Before buying, consider how quickly you can collect units of that quality and whether spending the cash would delay more useful levels or speed upgrades.
Increase carry capacity when valuable runs are reliable
Carry upgrades can let you bring home multiple Brainrots from a trip, but a dangerous wave can put the whole load at risk. Capacity is most useful when you can reach a strong area and return consistently. If the trip is uncertain, a quick return with one high-value pickup may protect more progress than trying to maximize every run.

When rebirth makes sense
All Things How describes rebirth as resetting speed in exchange for a stronger global money multiplier, while keeping Brainrots, carry upgrades, base layout, and banked cash. The guide reports a +0.5x increase per rebirth for the levels it lists. Rebirth can accelerate income afterward, but the speed reset means you should account for how difficult it will be to rebuild your routes and reach valuable zones again.
Use the live rebirth panel to check your current requirement and available multiplier before committing. Published secondary sources conflict about the maximum rebirth level, and the official Roblox listing does not document the cap or precise requirements. Do not rely on an old guide’s late-game cap or multiplier as current.

A practical spending order
- Place useful Brainrots. Put your strongest available earners in the base, then use early income to improve them.
- Buy enough speed for safer access. Increase speed as needed to reach better zones and return reliably; treat the roughly 140-speed Cosmic-wall figure as an approximate guide, not a guarantee.
- Target quality pickups. Prefer Secrets, Celestials, and strong mutation combinations over low-value volume when the trip is safe enough.
- Concentrate upgrades. Put levels into your best income producers rather than distributing cash uniformly.
- Add capacity when you can fill it. Expand when you can bring back suitable units, not just because another slot is available.
- Rebirth when the tradeoff works. Check the current in-game requirement and multiplier, then weigh the income boost against the speed rebuild.
Are paid shortcuts necessary?
All Things How mentions optional Robux cash purchases and VIP as shortcuts, but its specific price example should not be treated as current. Check the in-game shop for live offers. The guide says the game remains playable without paying; no purchase is required by the progression strategy above.
