The effect ties a Sorcerer’s movement-speed bonus to Critical Strike Chance. The listing does not explain every calculation detail, so it should not be read as a guarantee that the affix alone adds a fixed number of percentage points to your Critical Strike Chance.
Where do you get Esu’s Heirloom?
The current database entry names Astaroth as the drop source. It also lists Horadric Cube recipes involving the boots, including one to craft an Esu’s Heirloom Charm. These are in-game acquisition and crafting routes as listed by the database.

Is Esu’s Heirloom current in Season 15?
Yes. The item page presents Esu’s Heirloom as current for Season 15 and patch 3.2.1, and says it was updated October 7, 2026. Because item values can change with game updates, treat its numeric details as tied to that listing date and patch.
What changed in older patches?
Blizzard’s historical patch notes record that an Intelligence affix was replaced with Maximum Life, and Slow Duration Reduction was replaced with Critical Strike Damage. The notes also say the movement speed granted by Evade lasted two seconds instead of one. These changes provide historical context, not a complete account of the current item roll.

The available item information establishes its class, effect, and listed affix, but does not compare it with other Sorcerer boots or rank it for particular builds. To decide whether it suits your character, compare its Critical Strike Chance effect and Movement Speed with the other boots available to you, their affixes, and your build’s needs. The available sources do not establish that it is best-in-slot.

“While scholars have proven these boots were not created by Esu herself, it is noteworthy that they have been passed down since the formation of the Mage Clans.”
