The developer says it will also be playable during Steam Next Fest, October 19–26, 2026. However, the Steam listing still marks the game as unavailable, so check the live store page for download status. Demo-save carryover, the full-game price, and the full release date have not been announced.
Can you download the Eternal Blade demo now?
Steam lists a free demo with an October 2, 2026 date, and developer Shibui Labs says the demo will be playable during Steam Next Fest from October 19 to 26, 2026. But the Steam product listing still says the game is not yet available. Those details do not establish whether the demo can currently be downloaded, so check the Steam listing for its live status before planning to play.

What does the demo include?
Steam describes four explorable regions: Forbidden Forest, Kubu Forest, Fukushū Bay, and an extended open world. It estimates the main quest and side activities together at 1–2 hours. That is the store’s estimate, not independently measured playtime.

- Combat: The listing names the full combat system and an Almighty Power Meter.
- Other activities and systems: It also lists stealth, crafting, cooking, fishing, hunting, and mining, alongside weapons, materials, and item systems.
Steam describes the demo this way: “This is a Demo. Expect rough edges. Expect soul.” These are store-page descriptions, not independent playtest findings.
Will Eternal Blade demo progress carry over?
Neither the Steam listing nor the developer’s site states whether demo saves will transfer to the full game. The carryover policy is unannounced in those official sources. If you want to preserve progress, check for a developer update before investing time in the demo; do not assume a transfer either way.
How much will Eternal Blade cost, and when does the full game release?
Steam labels Eternal Blade “Coming soon” and does not list a full-game price or release date. There is not enough official information to estimate either. The demo’s free label applies to the demo, not to the full game.
What platforms will Eternal Blade support?
The currently documented platform is Steam on Windows PC. The official sources do not confirm a console release or availability in another PC store. That means other platforms are unconfirmed, not necessarily ruled out.
