The 2025 survival guide for RV There Yet? covers bears, snakes, and eagles, with a different response for each: repel or evade bears, avoid snakes and treat their poison with Antidote, and use the RV winch, a teammate, or the vehicle itself to counter an eagle grab. The roster is not fully settled: the guide names three animals, while the community creature listing names only bears and snakes.
RV There Yet? is a co-op adventure set in Mabutts Valley, where players try to drive their RV home. Steam says up to four players can share the RV. The following advice comes from a Destructoid guide published October 25, 2025; the community wiki independently corroborates some bear and snake details, but does not list eagles.

Bear: repel it or get away
Bears are reported around resource-rich locations such as houses, where players may be focused on gathering supplies. The community wiki says bears can chase players and damage both players and the RV, and that Bear Spray repels them. The guide also recommends using a hammer to scare a bear or escaping across a bridge, which it says bears will not cross.
- Bear Spray: Use it as the clearest corroborated countermeasure; the guide says it can be found at random locations.
- Hammer: The guide describes swinging it as a scare tactic. A missed swing can leave you exposed to a hit, so do not rely on it if you cannot safely time the attempt.
- Bridge: If one is nearby, the guide says crossing it can get you away because bears will not follow across.
The sources differ on whether a bear can be harmed directly. The safer interpretation is to treat the hammer as a way to scare it, not as a confirmed way to kill it.

Snake: heed the hiss and treat poison
Snakes may be hidden, can appear randomly, and are reported especially near water. The wiki says a snake hisses when a player gets close; a bite can inflict a purple poison effect. Avoid moving toward a hiss, and give the area a wide berth when you can.
If you are bitten and become poisoned, the guide names the in-game Antidote as the remedy. It also says snakes cannot be killed, making avoidance the better plan than trying to fight one.
Eagle: stay tethered or get inside
The Destructoid guide describes eagles as rare forest encounters. An eagle may swoop in and grab a player. Its suggested responses are to hold the RV winch if you are alone, have a teammate catch you if you are grabbed, or get inside the RV before an attack. If playing with someone else, be ready to return the favor if they are taken.
Rank #2
These eagle tactics come from the guide alone: the community wiki creature page reviewed lists bears and snakes, but no eagle entry. Treat the advice as reported guidance rather than independently corroborated current mechanics.

There is no confirmed, consistent census in the sources available: the October 2025 guide covers three species, while the community wiki page accessed October 8, 2026 lists only bears and snakes. That difference does not establish whether the wiki is incomplete or the encounter roster has changed. This walkthrough therefore covers the three animals named by the guide, not a verified complete list of every creature in the current game.
