To unlock Ayaka Sakai’s Synergy in Persona 5: The Phantom X, complete Rocking with the Band Club 1 and talk to Ritsuka. You do not need to own Chord. Raise Proficiency for the later rank events, use the higher-point answers below, and give Ayaka a preferred gift when you have one. At the Rank 14–15 relationship decision, choose “I feel the same way you do” for the romance route or “I support you as a fan” for the fan route.
How to unlock Ayaka’s Synergy
Complete the prerequisite quest Rocking with the Band Club 1, then talk to Ritsuka to hear her thoughts. Ayaka’s event quests become available after that. Synergy progression does not require pulling the associated playable character; it uses hangouts and gifts to build Closeness, followed by rank events with Social Stat requirements. Lufelnet’s table reports weekly purchase limits for shop items, but the figures available here do not specify those limits. There is also a discrepancy for the Harmonica: Game8’s guide, last updated 2026-02-12, breaks it down as 42 base points, 42 preferred-gift points, and an 84-point first-time bonus, while Lufelnet lists 84 and 168 in its two columns. Check the point display in your client before relying on an exact Harmonica total. Item names, availability, and values may vary by region or patch.

Which Ayaka relationship choice should you pick?
At the additional Rank 14–15 decision, pick “I feel the same way you do” to pursue the romantic route, or “I support you as a fan” to remain on the fan route. SEGA’s announcement of the Ver. 2.0 update says player choices can lead to a romantic relationship with Ayaka. The available guides establish this as a story and relationship choice, not a distinct gameplay-stat reward. SEGA announced Ayaka’s Synergy in its Ver. 2.0 announcement dated 2025-09-05.
