This is an editorial ranking of the four games released under the FIFA Street name—not an objective consensus. The order weighs control and skill expression, visual identity, mode variety, and how clearly each game realizes its version of street football.
How the ranking works
The four games do not share one design goal. FIFA Street 2 pushed trick play and skills battles; FIFA Street 3 made a deliberate turn toward stylized characters and simplified controls; and the 2012 FIFA Street drew on the main FIFA engine while adding street-specific controls and modes. Those differences matter more here than treating each sequel as a straightforward upgrade.

The ranking favors games whose described features give street play a distinctive identity and room for skill expression. EA’s announcements are useful for establishing what each game set out to do, but publisher descriptions are not independent quality assessments. There is no source-backed universal best-to-worst order.
1. FIFA Street 2 (2006)
FIFA Street 2 ranks first because its design most directly builds on the series’ central appeal: expressive tricks and one-on-one skill. EA described it as expanding the original’s arcade play with a stronger emphasis on skills battles, a larger selection of tricks, and in-game juggling. Those additions give the sequel the clearest stated focus on making individual technique the heart of a match.

Its reach was broader than a home-console sequel alone. EA listed releases for PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, PSP, and Nintendo DS. The handheld versions made the series available on portable systems as well as consoles, though platform availability by itself says nothing about how closely each version plays to another.
For a player choosing one entry on the basis of its documented emphasis, this is the most persuasive pick: its announced additions address the skills and trick variety that define the premise. That is a reasoned editorial preference, not a claim that it wins every comparison or suits every player.

2. FIFA Street (2012)
The 2012 FIFA Street earns second place for combining a mainline FIFA foundation with features explicitly designed for street football. EA highlighted Street Ball Control and street dribbling, as well as modes including Panna Rules and Last Man Standing. That combination gives it a broader documented mode identity than the earlier games in this ranking.
EA’s release announcement listed PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game also drew substantial launch-period interest: EA reported more than 2.1 million demo downloads in two weeks in 2012, calling it the second most-downloaded EA SPORTS demo over the preceding year, behind FIFA Soccer 12. That is a historical launch statistic, not a measure of the game’s audience today.

What to know about World Tour
The official manual describes World Tour as a mode built around created players and teams uploaded to EA servers. EA’s service archive lists the PS3 and Xbox 360 game under November 30, 2020; that listing alone does not establish which online or offline features currently work. Players interested in World Tour should not assume its server-dependent functions remain available.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.3. FIFA Street (2005)
The first FIFA Street holds third place as the series’ starting point. The franchise catalog lists it for Xbox, PlayStation 2, and GameCube. Its place in the ranking recognizes its role in establishing the branded series, while the available feature descriptions provide less detail for comparing its mechanics against the more explicitly documented design changes in its sequels.
Rank #4
- Incredible all-new tricks -- the Trick Stick allows you to win a game like never before
- Compete against the very best the streets have to offer, by making over the top moves
- Travel around the world to play, from the famous Westway Leisure Centre in London to the beautiful beachside of Brazil
- Dominate Skills Battles, and trigger Multiplier Trick moments
That limited basis should not be mistaken for proof that the original is inferior in every respect. It means only that, for this ranking, the documented criteria give more specific reasons to favor the entries above it.
4. FIFA Street 3 (2008)
FIFA Street 3 lands fourth because its most clearly documented changes represent a sharp stylistic departure rather than a straightforward deepening of trick-focused play. EA described a makeover in which recognizable football stars became stylized action heroes, alongside simplified controls and an arcade presentation. That gives the game a particularly distinct visual identity, but its announced control direction makes it a less compelling fit for a ranking that prioritizes expressive control and skill play.
In EA’s 2007 announcement, the publisher said the game would include more than 250 players representing 18 international teams. Those are EA’s announced figures, not an independent measure of quality. The announcement named Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as platforms.
Are there more than four FIFA Street games?
No. The FIFA Street-branded series comprises FIFA Street (2005), FIFA Street 2 (2006), FIFA Street 3 (2008), and FIFA Street (2012). FIFA 20 later introduced VOLTA FOOTBALL, which EA described as a mode bringing street and futsal play to that game; it is related, but it is not a fifth FIFA Street release.
