Mythical Island has 13 regular Themed Collection missions and four hidden ones. The checklists below show the cards each requires, where a mission lets you choose from a group, and the rewards reported for each. Some older guides list Emblem Tickets, but a maintained reference says those rewards changed to Shinedust on April 28, 2026; check the live mission panel for the exact reward currently available.
What are all the Mythical Island themed collections?
Themed Collections are missions grouped by expansion. Mythical Island’s 13 regular missions include ten card-group collections and three missions based on opening packs or collecting specific cards. The four hidden missions appear after you collect their required cards.
For card-group missions, “choose one” means any one eligible card from that group counts toward that slot; “collect any five,” for example, allows combinations and duplicates. Eligibility can depend on the card’s version, rarity, shiny state, or how it was obtained, so the card shown in the mission is the definitive guide.
What cards do I need for the Mythical Island missions?
Ten card-group collections
| Collection | Requirement | Reward information |
|---|---|---|
| Untouched Forest | Collect any five, with combinations and duplicates allowed, from Exeggutor, Shiinotic, Raichu, Joltik, Mankey, Liepard, Venipede, and Chatot. | Untouched Forest cover; a maintained reference reports 500 Shinedust. Older lists show 5 Emblem Tickets instead. |
| Tranquil Lake | Collect seven in any combination from Rapidash, Magikarp, Gyarados ex, Drednaw, and Cramorant. | Tranquil Lake cover; a maintained reference reports 1,300 Shinedust. Older lists show 13 Emblem Tickets instead. |
| Scorching Wilderness | Collect ten in any combination from Magmar, Volcarona, Salandit, Geodude, and Weezing. | Scorching Wilderness cover; a maintained reference reports 700 Shinedust. Older lists show 7 Emblem Tickets instead. |
| Forgotten Ruins | Collect Mythical Slab and nine cards in any combination from Serperior, Beheeyem, and Stonjourner. | Forgotten Ruins cover; a maintained reference reports 1,500 Shinedust. Older lists show 15 Emblem Tickets instead. |
| Catching Bugs | Larvesta, Joltik, Venipede, and Whirlipede, plus one of Volcarona, Galvantula, or Scolipede. | Original listing: 12 Wonder Hourglasses, 2 Emblem Tickets, and 2 Shop Tickets. Check the live panel for the current reward. |
| Pokémon That Fly | Choose one from each group: Volcarona or Floette; Gyarados ex or Chatot; Cramorant or Aerodactyl ex; Sigilyph or Flabébé; and Pidgey, Pidgeotto, or Pidgeot ex. | Original listing: 12 Wonder Hourglasses, 2 Emblem Tickets, and 2 Shop Tickets. Check the live panel for the current reward. |
| Attacks with 20 Damage | Choose one from each group: Morelull or Finneon; Mew or Elgyem; Mew ex or Swirlix; Purrloin or Venipede; and Whirlipede or Pidgey. | Original listing: 12 Wonder Hourglasses, 2 Emblem Tickets, and 2 Shop Tickets. Check the live panel for the current reward. |
| Small Pokémon | Morelull or Pidgey; Chewtle; Flabébé or Floette; Joltik or Dedenne; and Eevee or Chatot. | Original listing: 12 Wonder Hourglasses, 2 Emblem Tickets, and 2 Shop Tickets. Check the live panel for the current reward. |
| Tree of Repose | Chewtle, Dedenne, Primeape, and Pidgeotto. | Tree of Repose cover. |
| Flower Travelers | Flabébé, Floette, and Florges. | Original listing: 12 Wonder Hourglasses, 2 Emblem Tickets, and 2 Shop Tickets. Check the live panel for the current reward. |
The first four collections are card-count targets, while several others allow a choice among alternatives. That distinction can help you identify which missions are realistic with your current collection, but the game may still require a specific card variant.

Do Mythical Island collections still give Emblem Tickets?
Not according to the maintained reference’s update: it says Themed Collection Emblem Tickets were replaced with Shinedust on April 28, 2026. It reports 500 Shinedust for Untouched Forest, 1,300 for Tranquil Lake, 700 for Scorching Wilderness, and 1,500 for Forgotten Ruins. These are community-maintained figures, not quantities confirmed in Pokémon Support’s guidance; older guides may therefore show the original ticket rewards. For the current reward on any mission, use the amount displayed in the game.
Why isn’t my card counting toward a Themed Collection?
A Pokémon name alone may not be enough. Pokémon Support says a mission can require a particular card version, rarity, shiny state, or acquisition method. Open the mission and tap its displayed card to inspect which version qualifies. If the card still does not count, compare its details with that eligibility display rather than assuming every copy is interchangeable.
