Each one permanently raises your maximum Netherworld Energy capacity. Searches often call these “charges,” but the game and the guides use the term Netherworld Energy, so that is the term used here. Two of the five sit inside bonus missions, so you cannot collect every one on the main route alone.
The five pickup locations
The landmarks below come from MapMaster’s interactive-map guide. The guide gives landmark-level directions, so use its linked map if you need exact positions.

1. Skoffa Cave
- Landmark: high on the top wooden beam above the main cave floor.
- How to find it: look up rather than along the floor. The pickup sits on the highest wooden beam, not on the walking path.
2. Embars Ruins
- Landmark: on the edge of an upper balcony.
- Access: MapMaster says the balcony is reached from above through a specific drop point. Do not try to climb up to it from below; the guide does not describe that route.
3. El Ravaca Village
- Landmark: on the ground beside a large pipe.
- How to find it: this is the easiest of the five to spot, since it sits at ground level next to a clear object.
4. Wastus Canyon: Atlante the Precise
- Landmark: next to a ruin.
- Mission context: MapMaster classifies this as a side-mission area. If you skip the Atlante the Precise mission, you will not reach this pickup on the main route.
5. Temple of Shadows: The Vow
- Landmark: by a wall.
- Mission context: a late-game bonus-mission area. You need to have unlocked and entered The Vow mission before this pickup is reachable.
What Netherworld Energy does and how it differs from Soulstone upgrades
Netherworld Energy powers Phantom Abilities and Devil Transformation. Your maximum capacity determines how much of that resource you can hold, so each fixed pickup adds to the ceiling rather than being spent.
Soulstones are a separate route. MapMaster notes that you can spend Soulstones with Daphrona to expand the same resource pool. Those purchases are not among the five world pickups, so do not count them when checking your collection progress.

Getting back to pickups you missed
PowerPyx’s collectibles walkthrough says that collectibles are spread across main and bonus missions. Once you reach The Crevice, you can select missions from the menu and replay them to collect items you missed. PowerPyx attaches one exception: this cleanup works only as long as you do not start New Game+ after the credits. Treat this as PowerPyx’s published guidance rather than an official developer statement.
Neither source confirms whether New Game+ carries over Netherworld Energy pickups or whether collected pickups respawn in a new run. Do not assume either behavior. The official PlayStation page confirms that the game includes New Game+ and postgame modes, but it does not describe how collectibles behave in them.

What is and is not confirmed
- The five locations and their landmarks come from a third-party interactive-map guide dated in the captured page only as “year not stated.” They are not from a developer-published walkthrough.
- PowerPyx’s March 24, 2025 walkthrough supports the general replay process but does not separately confirm the five landmarks above.
- Nexon’s official site describes the game as a revenge story set in the DNF universe, centered on Khazan’s pact with the Blade Phantom. Its official pages do not list collectible locations.
If a landmark does not match what you see in game, check the MapMaster guide’s linked map against your current game version before assuming you are in the wrong place. Official references: Nexon’s official Khazan site and the PlayStation game page.
