The 2025 U.S. McDonald’s “Dragon Discovery” Happy Meal promotion featured 15 numbered Pokémon TCG cards. Each randomized booster pack contained four cards, so a single pack was not a complete set. The campaign was a limited-time offer whose advertised dates have passed.

Which Dragon Discovery cards are holographic?
Seven cards are listed as holographic: Pikachu (002), Miraidon (003), Koraidon (008), Hydreigon (010), Roaring Moon (011), Dragonite (012), and Drampa (015). The other eight entries in the checklist are labeled regular.
What came in a Dragon Discovery Happy Meal?
McDonald’s USA said each Happy Meal included a Pokémon TCG booster pack with four of the 15 available cards, a Pokémon poster, and a sticker sheet for the poster. The four box designs featured Charizard; Pikachu and Dragonite together; Rayquaza; or Roaring Moon. The official announcement is available from McDonald’s USA.

Because the four cards in a pack were randomized, buying a particular number of meals did not guarantee a full set. The checklist is useful for tracking numbers and finishes, but it does not establish print variations or the condition of any specific card.
When and where was the promotion available?
McDonald’s USA announced Dragon Discovery on January 21, 2025, as a limited-time offer at participating U.S. locations while supplies lasted. PokéBeach reported the U.S. campaign ran from January 21 through February 24, 2025. Those dates describe the U.S. promotion and do not establish availability or contents in other countries.

Was there a Pokémon TCG Pocket reward?
McDonald’s described a conditional digital offer for Happy Meals purchased through its app: a one-time code for Pokémon TCG Pocket containing 24 pack hourglasses and 12 wonder hourglasses, subject to the announcement’s app, email opt-in, and redemption conditions. This was a historical offer, not a current code or reward availability claim.
