This is a historical route guide to Rare Growths and Rare Ores reported in Arknights: Endfield Beta Test II. Rare Growths are field plants and fungi for Operator progression; Rare Ores are manually collected weapon-tuning materials. The routes below come from Pallav Pathak’s guide, updated January 2, 2026, and should not be treated as confirmed locations in a later build.
That distinction matters: Gryphline said Beta Test II used a work-in-progress build whose content could differ significantly from launch, and that test data would be deleted after the test. Its notice describes the test as limited-access, free, and data-wiped. Read the official Beta Test II instructions.
What Rare Growths and Rare Ores are used for
The Beta Test II guide separates these resources by use and collection method. It describes mushroom-type Rare Growths as materials for Operator level promotions, flower-type growths as materials for Operator skill development, and Rare Ores as fixed-node pickups for weapon tuning. The AIC Factory does not produce either category in the guide’s account; gather them in the field or cultivate them aboard the OMV Dijiang after obtaining a first copy. Rare Growths
- Mushrooms: Pink Bolete, Red Bolete, Ruby Bolete, Bloodcap, and Cosmagaric are named as promotion resources.
- Flowers: Kalkodendra, Chrysodendra, Vitrodendra, Blighted Jadeleaf, and False Aggela are named as skill-development resources. The guide describes Kalkodendra as useful through skill level 3 and Vitrodendra for levels 7–9; it does not clearly establish the skill-level use of Blighted Jadeleaf or False Aggela.
Rare Ores
Kalkonyx, Auronyx, Umbronyx, Igneosite, and Wulingstone are the named weapon-tuning materials. The guide gives Kalkonyx for weapons from level 20 to 40, Auronyx for 40–60, and Umbronyx for 60–80 in Wuling. It does not establish a complete requirement list or fully verified routes and thresholds for every ore.

Where to find the Rare Growths
These are locations and access notes reported for Beta Test II, not verified live-game spawn data. Check quest progression and unlock the relevant teleports before setting out.
Promotion mushrooms
- Pink Bolete — Valley IV: Reported near the Originium Byproduct Processing Center and southwest of the Hub Base Power Plant. Other reported nodes are in the Rockhill Logistics Platform area after its restoration side quest; in Aburrey Quarry after its questline and Repair Logic; in Valley Pass Arsenal after the Valley Transfer quest; and in two Originium Science Park pockets. One Science Park pocket requires explosives to clear contamination, while the other involves a local guardian.
- Red Bolete — Originium Lodespring and Power Plateau: The guide reports nodes near the Logistics Area/Mines Cable Car Station, across a broken highway that requires repair, on a Mountain Passage ledge, and in a pit reached from above. It describes Red Bolete as a next-tier promotion mushroom.
- Ruby Bolete — Jingyu Valley, Wuling: Two reported nodes are clustered around the Ecological Research Station and the teleport south of the Threadway.
- Bloodcap — Wuling: One reported node at Chenshan Way, north of Wuling City.
- Cosmagaric — Wuling: One reported node atop Sanku Ridge, south of Wuling City.
Skill flowers
- Kalkodendra — Valley IV: Reported at the Core AIC Area, Southern Meadows, Rockhill Passage, and two Aburrey Quarry locations. A Kohl Park ledge route requires power to open a gate and a crate-assisted path.
- Chrysodendra — Originium Lodespring: Reported near the meteorological station and inside an area with a container mechanism that requires repair and power.
- Vitrodendra — Jingyu Valley and Wuling City: The guide reports one location near the Stragglers Grove exit in Jingyu Valley and another near Guhou Marsh in Wuling City.
- Blighted Jadeleaf — Wuling: One reported location at Tianjing Courtyard.
- False Aggela — Wuling City: Reported on a ledge in front of the city. The guide’s quickest approach begins at the Maintenance Zone teleport and warns of Bonekrusher enemies along the way.
Where to find the Rare Ores
Kalkonyx
The Beta Test II guide describes Kalkonyx as the base weapon-tuning ore for levels 20–40 and reports six nodes in Valley IV. Named areas in its guide include the Originium Byproduct Processing Center, Woodland Fringes, Rockhill Passage, Aburrey Quarry, Originium Science Park, and the Valley Pass cave system. Its route examples include a node north of the Originium Byproduct Processing Center teleport and a Woodland Fringes node approached from the south; the north approach there is blocked by a camp.

Auronyx, Umbronyx, Igneosite, and Wulingstone
The guide groups these as later-band or endgame tuning ores. It associates Auronyx with weapon levels 40–60 and Umbronyx with levels 60–80 in Wuling, but does not fully verify their routes or all progression thresholds. Igneosite and Wulingstone are described in the guide’s contents as single-node endgame ores; precise locations and tuning requirements are not established in the captured information. Confirm their details in the version you are playing rather than relying on the beta account.
Plan around access gates, not just distance
A nearby-looking node may still require story progress or a specific traversal action. The reported routes include restored-area quests, Repair Logic, power routing, explosives, repair puzzles, rope traversal, jumps, and combat. Before traveling, confirm the required quest and movement or combat tools, and unlock the nearest teleport when available.

Where both Valley IV and Wuling routes are relevant, choose based on your current story access, unlocked teleports, and the material tier you need. The guide does not provide verified yield-per-minute measurements, so it cannot support a reliable ranking of routes by farming efficiency.
Can you cultivate Rare Growths or Rare Ores?
The guide’s Beta Test II account says the AIC Factory does not produce either category. Instead, it describes a Growth Chamber aboard the OMV Dijiang for cultivating copies of a Rare Growth after you have collected at least one and converted it into a seed. The source does not establish current live-game operation or a precise node refresh timer.

For field collection, the guide characterizes rare-node refresh as slow but gives no exact duration. Rather than immediately repeating the same circuit, alternate between regions or work on other objectives while waiting. Treat that as route-planning advice for the reported beta behavior, not a guaranteed rule for another build.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to use this Beta Test II map information
- Identify the material and purpose. Use mushrooms for the reported promotion needs, flowers for skill development, and Rare Ores for weapon tuning.
- Check access first. Look for the relevant quest, repair, power, explosives, traversal, or enemy condition in the route notes above.
- Travel to an unlocked teleport. The guide’s location descriptions often refer to nearby named teleports or facilities; an unclaimed waypoint can add substantial backtracking.
- Collect a first Rare Growth if you want to try cultivation. In the guide’s account, the Growth Chamber route first requires converting one copy to a seed.
- Verify uncertain details in your build. The official Beta Test II instructions warn that its work-in-progress content could differ significantly from launch. The guide is secondary reporting and the official notice does not independently confirm each node, gate, or refresh behavior. Official Beta Test II instructions.
Exploration tools mentioned by the developers
In an official Beta Test II developer communication dated November 1, 2025, the Arknights: Endfield Team said, “You can now purchase Detectors and Compasses.” The tools were described as revealing hidden storage crates or Aurylenes within a certain range. That announcement concerns exploration tools; it does not verify the Rare Growth or Rare Ore locations in this guide. Read DEV Comm//02.
