Every Way to Earn Free Units in Marvel Rivals Times Square During Season 6.5

Season 6.5 had three reported Times Square interactions that could award free Units: joining the Love on Parade carriage procession, claiming a red packet from the Fortune Drum, and copying an NPC dancer’s moves on the disco floor. Together, they were reported to offer up to 300 Units per account. These were limited-time rewards, however, and all three opportunities have ended; they cannot be claimed now.

Season 6.5 Times Square rewards at a glance

The 300-Unit total is the sum of those three reported 100-Unit rewards, not a total stated in the official patch notes. The carriage amount is officially confirmed; the Fortune Drum and disco amounts come from the February 14, 2026 All Things How guide. [Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 patch notes] [All Things How guide]

1. Join the Love on Parade carriage procession

This was the clearest official free-Unit reward: Marvel Rivals’ Season 6.5 patch notes said players would receive 100 Units the first time they joined the procession. The event ran from February 13, 2026, at 09:00 UTC, through March 5, 2026, at 09:00 UTC.

During the event, players could board a carriage in Times Square’s procession. Heroes with active Pym Particles could not participate. The reward was explicitly limited to the first time a player joined, rather than a daily repeat.

2. Interact with the Fortune Drum for a red packet

During Raining Red Packets, players could interact with the Fortune Drum on the Lion Dance stage in Times Square to claim a special red packet. The official claim window was February 15, 2026, at 16:00 UTC, through February 22, 2026, at 16:00 UTC. The official patch notes confirm the interaction and packet, but do not state how many Units it contained.

All Things How reported that the packet contained 100 Units. Treat that figure as secondary reporting, not an amount confirmed by the official notes. [All Things How guide]

3. Copy an NPC dancer on the disco floor

All Things How also reported an earlier Season 6.5 Times Square reward: approach an NPC dancer near the center of the disco floor and use the prompted interact key. Your hero would mirror that NPC’s dance, and the guide says this interaction awarded 100 Units.

That was not the same as selecting and playing an emote from the emote wheel. The dance reward and method are not described in the official Season 6.5 patch notes, so both details rely on the guide’s reporting. Its stated reward windows for the carriage and drum do not establish a specific end date for the disco interaction.

Could you claim any of these rewards more than once?

The official patch notes explicitly limit the carriage reward to a player’s first time joining the procession. All Things How describes the carriage, drum, and disco rewards as one-time rewards per account, not repeatable daily claims. The official notes do not independently specify repeatability for the drum or disco interaction.

Are the Season 6.5 Times Square Units still available?

No. As of October 4, 2026, all three described opportunities had passed: the official carriage and Fortune Drum periods ended on March 5 and February 22, 2026, respectively, and the disco interaction was an earlier Season 6.5 reward. They are historical event rewards, not current ways to earn Units.

These Times Square interactions are separate from Season 6.5’s Monster Kingdom Championship, whose tournament rewards depended on faction wins, and from the Wedding Wishes lucky draw, which spent Units. Neither is one of the Times Square methods covered here. [Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 patch notes] [Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 patch notes]
