For that event, Xbox provided two routes:
- From the web: Open the game’s Xbox.com detail page, sign in to the Microsoft Store, and select the install option offered to eligible members.
- From an Xbox console: On Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, open the Store, go to the Subscriptions tab, and find the Free Play Days collection.

Could players keep progress after Free Play Days?
Xbox said members could purchase a game to continue playing after the event and keep the Gamerscore and achievements earned during Free Play Days. The announcement did not promise that access to a game would continue without purchase once its event window ended.
