Revamped My Team
My Team was presented as a mode about creating a story and running an F1 team dynasty. The reveal announcement emphasized the revamp, but did not detail every change to the mode in the trailer description.
Braking Point’s third chapter
The reveal also announced a third chapter of the story mode Braking Point. Formula 1’s March 26, 2025 coverage said players would have multiple difficulty settings. That report also noted that Iconic Edition buyers could access post-launch gameplay chapters inspired by the film F1 and featuring the fictional team APXGP; those chapters were an edition-specific extra, not a feature promised to every buyer at reveal.

F1 25 launched worldwide on May 30, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, according to Formula 1’s launch report. Its launch coverage described My Team 2.0, Braking Point’s return, and APXGP integration from F1 The Movie. Movie-inspired scenarios were available to Iconic Edition purchasers following the film’s release.
The same report said that six circuits had been digitally scanned using LiDAR across a race weekend: Silverstone, Bahrain, Imola, Melbourne, Miami, and Suzuka. This is Formula 1’s description of the game’s circuit-scanning feature, not an independent assessment of how accurately each track is represented.

EA announced a distinct F1 25: 2026 Season Pack trailer on May 20, 2026. The pack was scheduled for release June 3, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In its announcement, EA described updated 2026 rules and regulations, the new Audi and Cadillac teams and their driver rosters, new gameplay features, and the MADRING circuit. The official EA SPORTS F1 trailer description specifically mentions Overtake mode and active aerodynamics.
