Players seeking a detailed account of the interface or the consequences of particular starting choices will need hands-on evidence beyond the published feature descriptions.
What is involved in managing a team?
Management extends beyond race-day calls. The PlayStation listing describes driver and staff management, car development, and facilities across seasons. It also highlights a Mentality System, affiliate development for F2 and F3 talent, mechanical failures, refreshed circuits, the 2024 sprint format, and simulation of a full race weekend. These are publisher/store descriptions, not independent findings about how successfully each system works.

Formula 1’s July 2024 launch announcement also promoted “70,000 lines of real team radio.” That is a publisher-stated figure, not an independently audited count. The same announcement called the game “the most realistic and feature-rich F1 Manager experience to-date”; that is promotional language rather than an independent review verdict.
How did players rate it on Steam?
In a Steam page snapshot accessed October 8, 2026, 81% of 2,352 English-language user reviews were positive, while 95% of 101 recent user reviews were positive. These are Steam user-review proportions, not critic scores. They describe the page at that observation point, not a permanent rating, and do not by themselves explain what players liked or disliked.

Which platforms can you play it on?
The game launched digitally on July 23, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series consoles, according to Formula 1. Nintendo’s official listing gives the Switch release date as July 23, 2024 (Nintendo eShop).
There is no verified platform-by-platform comparison here for performance, controls, stability, or feature parity. The fact that a version is available on a system should not be taken as evidence that it runs or plays better than another version. Store editions, add-ons, and current prices can also change; check the relevant official storefront for what is currently offered. Who is F1 Manager 2024 for?
