To play it, you need Fallout 4 with all its DLC or the Game of the Year edition, and the installation path differs between GOG and Steam.
When did Fallout: London come out?
Team FOLON’s press kit gives the release date as July 25, 2024, and GOG lists the same date on its product page. The old “it’s today” framing is therefore no longer current.

What is Fallout: London?
Fallout: London is a free, DLC-sized total conversion mod made by Team FOLON for Fallout 4. It moves the setting to post-apocalyptic London and adds a new story and world content. It is not a standalone game: the official listing says it requires Fallout 4 GOTY or the base game on GOG or Steam, along with all DLC.

GOG’s current listing presents the mod as including 200 quests, 20 factions, seven companions, and 15 boroughs. Those figures describe the listing and should not be read as a separate player-count or reception measure.
#1 Best Overall
What do you need to play it?
- A PC copy of Fallout 4 with all its DLC, or Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition.
- The High Resolution Texture Pack is not required.
- A supported installation route: GOG lists its Fallout 4 GOTY version as directly compatible; Steam owners must use the version specified in Team FOLON’s instructions.
GOG lists Fallout: London as Windows-supported and English-language. Team FOLON’s requirements and current instructions are on its official release and installation page.
How installation differs on GOG and Steam
| Storefront | Game version and method | Important details |
|---|---|---|
| GOG | GOG’s Fallout 4 GOTY listing is directly compatible. The listing provides installation steps through GOG Galaxy; Galaxy is optional if you use the offline installer. | GOG says installation changes the default Fallout 4 GOTY installation. Disable cloud saves because the save folder is shared. |
| Steam | Team FOLON’s current instructions require downgrading Fallout 4 to version 1.10.163.0, the pre-next-gen release, before installing the mod. | Follow Team FOLON’s current downgrade and launcher instructions rather than assuming the GOG process applies. |
For either storefront, Team FOLON recommends starting with a clean Fallout 4 installation and removing existing mods that could conflict. Check the official instructions for the current installer steps before beginning; older walkthroughs may not match them.

Is Fallout: London still being updated?
Team FOLON says it has become a registered game development company and is working on its first original game. The team has described “WildCard” as the final planned Fallout: London DLC, but its release date is TBA—not a confirmed launch date. See the Team FOLON announcement for its stated plans.
