The crossover’s two trials award Veldian weapon coffers; Guardian Scales and Extreme-only certificates unlock additional rewards.
How to unlock The White Wanderer
- Complete the Dawntrail main scenario quest. This is a prerequisite; owning the expansion by itself does not satisfy it.
- Reach level 100 on a Disciple of War or Magic.
- In Tuliyollal, speak to the Dawn Hunt Tracker at X:13.3, Y:13.1 and accept The White Wanderer.
Completing The White Wanderer unlocks The Windward Wilds. The Extreme version also requires this quest and an additional conversation with the Wandering Minstrel in Tuliyollal at X:11.1, Y:14.6.

Windward Wilds requirements and rewards
Both duties are eight-player trials with a 60-minute time limit. The Patch 7.35 notes list these entry requirements and rewards:

For Extreme, the patch notes say item-level and role restrictions do not apply when registering as a full party. This exception does not remove the duty’s listed level 100 requirement.

The action also now flows seamlessly from cutscenes to gameplay, resulting in a new level of immersion.
How to get each crossover reward
Veldian weapons
Complete either version of The Windward Wilds to receive a Veldian weapon coffer. Guardian Scales from Guardian Arkveld provide another route to weapons: after completing The White Wanderer, exchange scales at the smithy in Tuliyollal at X:13.2, Y:13.0. The smithy also exchanges scales for other listed items.
Hope Mail armor
Exchange Guardian Scales for the Hope Mail body gear and the rest of the set. The armor is obtained through the scale exchange, not as the stated guaranteed trial reward.

Seikret mount
Complete the special quest The White Visitor to receive the Seikret mount. The official FFXIV community team identifies that quest as the mount’s reward source.
Felyne support team cart mount
Obtain a Guardian Arkveld Certificate from The Windward Wilds (Extreme) and use it to obtain the Felyne support team cart mount. Extreme awards two certificates per player on completion; certificates are also required to enhance Veldian weapons at the Tuliyollal smithy.

Furnishings
Complete The White Visitor for the Outdoor Hunter’s Grill and Hunter’s Camp Chair. Other crossover furnishings can be exchanged for Guardian Scales at the smithy.

Patch 7.35 notes updated October 14, 2025 list the quests and trials but give no end date for their in-game availability. That means the cited notes do not establish a deadline; they also do not promise the content will remain available permanently. The separate screenshot campaign ran October 7–27, 2025, and was not the same thing as the in-game quest or its rewards.
