The October 12 maintenance notice describes a 24-hour maintenance period, but does not say it reduces either collaboration’s posted event time. The two events have different deadlines: A Nocturne for Heroes ends October 13, 2026, while the Fall Guys collaboration ends October 27, 2026, both at 7:59 a.m. PDT.
Did FFXIV cut an event deadline by 24 hours?
The official announcements do not establish that either collaboration lost 24 hours. The Lodestone maintenance notice says maintenance will take place on October 12 ahead of same-region player matching for the Japan data center on October 13. It does not announce a changed end date for either event.

Because the maintenance and event schedules overlap, players should check the official event notice and plan around the published deadline. The maintenance notice alone is not evidence that the event end time has moved.

The official announcements cover two separate collaborations. Their dates and replay options differ:

A Nocturne for Heroes
The announcement highlights the Regalia Type-G four-seat mount, Lucian Prince costume set, Modern Aesthetics – Lucian Locks, and orchestrion rolls. The event is described as identical to its previous version.

The announcement lists attire, a mount, and framer’s kits among the rewards. It also says the collaboration is expected to return as a special event at irregular intervals after this run ends; that does not provide a specific next date.

- If you still need the FFXV collaboration content, use October 13, 2026, at 7:59 a.m. PDT as the posted cutoff.
- If you are working on the Fall Guys collaboration, its posted cutoff is October 27, 2026, at 7:59 a.m. PDT.
- Do not assume maintenance extended or shortened either event. The maintenance announcement does not give a revised event schedule.
- Check the corresponding official event announcement for schedule updates, and convert the PDT deadline to your local time.
