Players started its level 15 quest by speaking with Hebi Bugyo in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks. The event has ended; its featured minion was The Great White Tsuchinoko, with two furnishings and returning omikuji fortune readings also available during the event.
When did Heavensturn start and end?
Square Enix scheduled Heavensturn from Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. PST to Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 6:59 a.m. PST. The official announcement also gave the equivalent times as December 31 at 15:00 GMT / January 1 at 2:00 AEDT through January 16 at 14:59 GMT / January 17 at 1:59 AEDT. The different calendar dates reflect time zones, not separate event schedules. Square Enix’s event announcement and its Steam notice list the event timing.

Where did you start the Heavensturn quest?
To begin, players needed to speak to Hebi Bugyo in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks at X:11.5, Y:13.9. The quest was titled “Heavensssturn Trivia”—with three consecutive “s” letters in the official spelling—and required a character level of 15 or higher.

The Great White Tsuchinoko minion
The event’s named minion was The Great White Tsuchinoko. Square Enix described it as a mochi-fied creature with a tiny mandarin orange on its head. The official event blog lists the minion among the event items.

Two furnishings from Hebi Shonin
Hebi Shonin offered the Springtide Fan Stand and Oriental New Year’s Meal furnishings during the event. The latter’s decoration draws on osechi, a traditional Japanese New Year dish. These were in-game housing furnishings, distinct from the minion reward.
What was the omikuji activity?
Heavensturn brought back omikuji, a fortune-reading activity. Each reading cost 100 gil, and players were invited to compare their results with friends. The announcement does not establish whether the activity or these event items remain available after the event.

Is the Heavensturn event still available?
No. The announced 2025 event ended on January 16, 2025, at 6:59 a.m. PST (January 17 at 1:59 a.m. AEDT). These dates are historical, not a current event window. Square Enix’s announcements do not establish a future Heavensturn schedule or the present availability of the event rewards.
