The LEGO Ocarina of Time set is no longer just a leak: Nintendo showed it during its September 8, 2026 Zelda 40th anniversary Direct. The model, reported by Nintendo Life as Link & Epona, depicts adult Link riding Epona with the Master Sword and Hylian Shield. Nintendo Life reports 1,750 pieces and a Spring 2027 release window.
What the first look shows
The revealed build centers on adult Link riding Epona. Link is equipped with the Master Sword and Hylian Shield. Nintendo presented the image as part of its Zelda anniversary Direct, according to Nintendo Life’s report and ComicBook.com’s recap.
Nintendo Life identifies the set as Link & Epona. It is distinct in scene and character focus from the earlier Ocarina of Time: The Final Battle set, which ComicBook.com describes as a 1,000-plus-piece build featuring Link, Zelda, Ganondorf and a large Ganon build.
Piece count and expected release
Nintendo Life reports that Link & Epona has 1,750 pieces and is expected in Spring 2027. Spring 2027 is a release window, not a confirmed launch day. ComicBook.com’s report from September 8 said the piece count and timing had not yet been disclosed; Nintendo Life’s later reporting supplies those details.
