Fortnite’s “1200+ LEGO skins” refers to outfits that had LEGO Style variants when LEGO Fortnite launched in December 2023—not a current, complete roster. Epic said the v28.00 update added more than 1,200 LEGO Style outfits; its current guidance describes the catalog as thousands and says more are added over time. Your Locker is the practical way to see which styles you can use.
What a LEGO Style is—and what it is not
Players often call Fortnite outfits “skins”; Epic’s term is outfits, and it calls their blocky in-game versions LEGO Styles. These are digital variants for LEGO Fortnite experiences, not physical minifigures. A LEGO Style can change an outfit’s appearance for play in those experiences without being a separate physical LEGO product. Epic’s December 2023 announcement introduced the launch catalog, while LEGO’s guide describes the ongoing selection.
The “1,200+” figure is historical: Epic said on December 3, 2023, that Fortnite v28.00 brought LEGO Styles to over 1,200 outfits. It is not an audited count of today’s available styles. LEGO now describes the catalog as thousands, with more arriving continually, but neither source provides an exhaustive, named current roster. That means no reliable list can promise every eligible outfit or establish that every Fortnite outfit has a LEGO equivalent.
Which Fortnite skins have LEGO Styles?
There is no complete public list in the official guides cited here. The best answer for a particular outfit is to check its details in your Locker: if an equivalent has been released and is available to you, the game can show it there. An outfit may lack a LEGO Style because its equivalent has not been added, or it may not be available in the way you expect.

LEGO’s guide discusses examples including Sparkplug, Island Adventure Peely, Explorer Emilie, Loserfruit, Brite Agent, Raven, Cuddle Team Leader, Peely, Bushranger, Beef Boss, Aura, Meowscles, Darth Vader, Tomatohead, Wolverine, Fishstick, and Mecha Team Leader. These examples illustrate the range of Fortnite characters represented; they are not a complete roster or a guarantee that a given style is currently obtainable.
How to check and use a LEGO Style
Epic and LEGO describe slightly different routes through the interface. Labels may change, but both point you to the Locker and then into a LEGO Fortnite experience.

Epic’s route from the main Lobby
- From the Fortnite Lobby, open Locker.
- Select and equip the Fortnite outfit you want to use.
- Return to the Lobby and choose LEGO Fortnite Odyssey or another LEGO Fortnite Odyssey experience.
- Enter the experience. Epic says the equipped outfit should be represented by its LEGO Style if that equivalent is available; an outfit without an available equivalent will not appear as an available style.
LEGO’s route from Play
- Choose the LEGO Fortnite tile from Play.
- Open Locker, then select Character and Outfit.
- In the character details, choose the LEGO Style you want, if one is available.
- Return to Play and enter the world.
For either route, inspect the outfit’s details in the Locker. Epic’s launch announcement also points players to outfit detail pages in the Shop or Locker. Availability in those menus is more useful than relying on a launch-era total or a third-party list.
Do you need to buy a separate LEGO version?
No physical LEGO purchase is required for an available digital equivalent. Epic says that if you own a Fortnite outfit and its LEGO Style equivalent is already available in-game, you also own that style. Epic’s launch announcement likewise said LEGO Styles for already-owned outfits would be available at no additional cost. If an equivalent has not yet been added, Epic says it can appear locked; owning the outfit does not make an unreleased style available.

Keep the separate ways to obtain things distinct:
- Owned Fortnite outfit: an available LEGO Style equivalent is included according to Epic’s ownership guidance.
- Item Shop outfit: some outfits may be limited-time Shop items; LEGO says some periodically return. Check the in-game Shop for current availability.
- Account-linked outfits: LEGO identifies Explorer Emilie and Mr. Dappermint as free outfits obtainable by linking LEGO and Epic accounts. Use the official account flow to check current eligibility and instructions.
- Physical LEGO set: a collectible building set or minifigure is separate from digital outfit ownership and does not unlock the overall LEGO Style catalog.
Why might an outfit not have a LEGO Style?
Epic’s support guidance says the equivalent must already be available in-game for an owned outfit to include it. The catalog has expanded over time, so an outfit without a visible style may simply not have an available equivalent yet. Check the Locker outfit details and LEGO Fortnite experience menus rather than assuming a physical set or an owned outfit guarantees a variant.
Visual treatment also varies. Epic Support has stated that around 317 detailed LEGO Styles existed at the time its page was written and that additional completed versions would arrive in future updates. The page does not show a publication date, so that number is a page-specific historical status, not a current count. It should not be read as the total number of LEGO Styles: Epic’s support page distinguishes detailed styles from the wider set, while LEGO describes thousands of styles overall.

LEGO Fortnite minifigures and physical sets
Physical LEGO Fortnite products are for building and collecting, not keys to the digital outfit catalog. LEGO’s styles overview says the Battle Bus set includes nine minifigures: Adventure Peely, Battalion Brawler, Brite Bomber, Cube Assassin, Cuddle Team Leader, Drift, Meowscles, Raven, and Trespasser Elite. The guide also identifies the Durrr Burger, Peely Bone, and Supply Llama as physical Fortnite sets. Set availability and regional stock can change; check LEGO’s current listing for product details.
A past Operation Brite offer tied to physical set purchases had a stated end date of March 1, 2026. That date has passed, so it should not be treated as an active promotion. Buying a physical set and owning or equipping a digital LEGO Style remain separate.
