To get the Jack-o-Blazer in Fisch, complete the Headless Horseman quest by bringing the quest giver a Frightful Jack-o-Lantern, five Wisps, a Haunted Candle, a Blazed Handle, and 5,000 Candy. The quest was available during FischFright 2025; although Roblox lists FischFright 3 as scheduled for October 17, 2026, its listing does not confirm that this quest or rod will return. Check the live event in game before farming for these items.
Before you start: check whether the quest is available
The Jack-o-Blazer questline was obtainable during FischFright 2025, according to the Fisch Wiki. Roblox’s Fisch game listing schedules FischFright 3 for October 17, 2026, but does not say whether the Headless Horseman quest or its reward will be part of that event. Look for the quest giver and active event details in your game; a scheduled event alone is not confirmation that the rod is obtainable again.
The five requirements below are documented by the Fisch Wiki and Beebom, rather than an official quest announcement. Item spellings and event mechanics can change, so follow the live in-game prompts if they differ.
What you need for the Headless Horseman quest

How to complete each requirement
1. Catch a Frightful Jack-o-Lantern
Fish near Crook’s Hallow for a Jack-o-Lantern, then obtain the Frightful mutation. Beebom and the Fisch Wiki describe appraisal and a Frightful enchant as ways to pursue the mutation. The wiki lists appraisal odds of 0.07% normally and 0.2% during Mutation Surge. It also estimates a roughly 3–4% chance under a combination of hidden Scallop abundance, Aurora Borealis, and high-Luck bait; that is a wiki estimate for those conditions, not a guaranteed or independently tested rate.

Because appraisal odds are low, check whether you already have a suitable Frightful Jack-o-Lantern before spending time or resources on another one.
2. Collect five Wisps
Search the graveyard near the Nessie statue. Beebom says to watch for blue-highlighted gravestones and interact when one appears; the Fisch Wiki also places Wisps in the graveyard and notes that you may already have them in your inventory.

3. Find the Haunted Candle
Search through the Haunted Mansion for a dark-blue candle. Beebom says it replaces ordinary candles and may appear anywhere inside the mansion, so check its rooms rather than looking for one fixed spawn point.
4. Obtain the Blazed Handle
The Fisch Wiki says the Blazed Handle is tied to returning 100 Witch Ingredients. Beebom’s walkthrough describes completing Goblin challenges to find ingredients and submitting them at the Witch’s Cauldron. The wiki recommends the hardest Goblin quest because it awards three ingredients. Older guides may call the item “Blaze Handle” or “Burning Handle”; the later wiki listing uses “Blazed Handle.”

5. Earn 5,000 Candy
Use the event’s available Candy activities, which Beebom and the Fisch Wiki list as trick-or-treating, NPC or event quests, Witch’s Cauldron ingredient submissions, and Frightful Crates. The best option depends on which activities are active in your version of Fisch, so check the event interface and quest rewards as you go.

These are the later listing’s figures, not independently tested values. Beebom’s October 19, 2025 guide reports 66.6% Luck and a 16.6x Jack’s Curse value instead. The sources therefore conflict; do not treat the older figures as current without checking the rod’s live in-game description.
