Megagon Industries’ version 1.4.102 update, announced in December 2025, said it switched reflection rendering to RenderTextures to address frequent crashes during level loading. The same update made parts of level loading asynchronous to address intermittent application hangs, and fixed multiplayer connection issues associated with unstable internet connections. The crash fix was described specifically in relation to level loading; it does not establish that crashes during a run or in every multiplayer situation have the same cause.

The developer’s latest listed announcement is version 1.4.512, dated September 29, 2026. Its listed changes cover editor publishing, caching, lighting, input, and interface issues, with no crash fix mentioned. An earlier version 1.4.511 update, listed for Steam and consoles on September 8, 2026, describes rendering, frame-drop, file-storage, and checkpoint changes, but likewise does not state that it fixes Xbox crashes. Patch notes establish what those updates document, not whether a particular player’s crash is resolved.

- Check for the latest game update available on your Xbox. The game-specific remedy documented by the developer is a software update. Make sure the console has installed the available update for Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, then try the activity that previously caused the crash.
- Note exactly when the crash happens. Record whether it occurs while a level is loading, during a run, or in multiplayer. Level loading is the symptom tied to the historical crash fix; the other timings help distinguish your case, but are not confirmed causes.
- If it continues, report the details to Megagon Industries. The developer’s announcement page directs players with questions or remarks to its Discord community. The available information does not establish a formal support-ticket process, so use the developer’s official community/support channels and describe the problem clearly.

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders is listed for Xbox Series X|S by Microsoft, with Megagon Industries named as both developer and publisher. The Microsoft listing describes solo and online play, including co-op and versus modes for 2–8 players; that range describes the available play modes, not a demonstrated cause of crashes.

The available update notes do not confirm a single cause for all current Xbox crashes, a guaranteed workaround, or a console-specific defect.
