First check which service says “Processing.” If the video is still processing in OneStream Live before its scheduled broadcast, check that the upload completed, the file plays correctly, and the event and YouTube connection are valid. If the stream already played and YouTube is processing its video or live archive, that is a separate YouTube stage; OneStream’s upload troubleshooting cannot clear it.
Find where processing is stuck

These are different stages; the available platform guidance does not establish a shared processing queue. OneStream lists “Processing or Pending” among symptoms of failed pre-recorded streams in its troubleshooting guidance.

If OneStream Live is still processing the upload
1. Confirm the upload finished
Check whether the file transfer completed in OneStream. If it did not, retry from a stable connection and avoid interrupting the transfer. A connection issue can affect an upload in progress; it does not establish a fix for a file that has already uploaded and is processing remotely.

Before changing the event, play the original recording from beginning to end. Look for missing audio, damaged frames, unexpected pauses, or freezing. If playback is faulty, export a clean copy and upload that rather than assuming the scheduled stream can repair a damaged source.

3. Check OneStream’s recommended file settings
OneStream recommends the following settings for pre-recorded streams. These are its documented recommendations, not a claim that every file using other settings will fail.

These format recommendations are from OneStream’s pre-recorded stream troubleshooting article. If the file does not match them, consider making a compatible export and testing it; do not treat conversion as a guaranteed cure for a service-side problem.

4. Verify the event and YouTube destination
Check the event details before altering the schedule:
- Confirm the broadcast date and time, including the intended time zone.
- Check that the event has not expired and that there is enough time for processing before it is due to start.
- Confirm the YouTube destination is connected and authorized, and that its permissions and destination settings are current.
- If the setup uses a stream key, verify that the correct current key is configured. Do not share it publicly.
- Check whether YouTube or the destination is experiencing an availability problem.
5. Retry cautiously and test before the scheduled broadcast
If processing remains stuck for an extended period, OneStream recommends, where appropriate, deleting the failed upload, uploading a fresh copy, waiting for processing to finish, and testing the event before the scheduled broadcast. A fresh upload does not guarantee that the original schedule will be preserved or that an outage will be fixed. If YouTube is processing the video after the stream
If the broadcast itself played and the item marked “Processing” is in YouTube, check that item in YouTube Studio. YouTube’s Help Community FAQ, attributed to Camilla, a TeamYouTube Google Employee, says longer videos and higher-resolution or higher-frame-rate files can take longer to process; higher resolutions may become available after processing finishes. The post does not give a dependable deadline for deciding a video is irrecoverably stuck or a guaranteed recovery procedure for a live archive. It is a community FAQ, not a service-level commitment. If the video remains unavailable, use YouTube’s current support channels rather than assuming OneStream can change YouTube’s processing state. Read the YouTube Help Community FAQ.
Check whether you mean a repeated broadcast or a 24/7 stream
A pre-recorded video repeated within one scheduled broadcast is not the same workflow as a continuous 24/7 channel. OneStream’s loop guide describes choosing a video, setting a loop count of up to 60, selecting destinations, adding stream details, and scheduling the broadcast. OneStream’s separate 24/7 feature is for YouTube only, requires an Enterprise plan, and its help article says a stream can be scheduled for up to 30 days. These product limits and plan conditions can change; verify them in OneStream’s current 24/7 streaming instructions. You do not need that separate feature merely to repeat a video in a scheduled broadcast.
