Its official announce trailer arrived on September 12, 2023. For an EFL save, the right club depends on the challenge you want: Sunderland offers a Championship promotion project, while Wrexham starts a longer climb in League Two. These club suggestions reflect FM24’s 2023 setup, not a current squad assessment.
When was FM24 released?
Sports Interactive set Monday, November 6, 2023, as FM24’s release date. The launch announcement gave a 4pm GMT rollout for PC, Console and Touch, and 5pm GMT for Mobile. Those are historical launch timings, not an indication of current storefront availability.
The editions launched across different platforms: PC through Steam, Epic, Microsoft Store and Xbox Game Pass for PC; Console through Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store and Xbox Game Pass; Touch through Nintendo eShop; and Mobile on iOS and Android through Netflix. Sports Interactive’s release announcement also said PC/Mac Early Access would start roughly two weeks before the final game, with the exact timing to be announced when the build was ready.
Compatible FM23 PC/Mac, Console and Touch careers could transfer to the corresponding FM24 editions. Mobile did not support save transfers, and achievements and FM23 match replays did not carry over with transferred careers.

Where can I watch the official trailer?
The official FM24 announce trailer was published on September 12, 2023, by the verified Football Manager YouTube channel. It announced the November 6 release across PC/Mac, Console, Touch and Mobile, with Mobile described at the time as exclusive to Netflix.
This is the announce trailer, not the separate launch trailer published on release day.

The language employed throughout the game has also enjoyed a major overhaul and now corresponds more closely to the language of real world football.
Which EFL competitions are in FM24?
Sports Interactive’s licence list names the Sky Bet Championship, Sky Bet League One, Sky Bet League Two, Carabao Cup and EFL Trophy. It lists the National League, National League North and National League South separately; those are not EFL divisions.

Sky Sports’ October 17, 2023 save ideas frames Sunderland as a project outside the Premier League and Wrexham as a route up from League Two. Their squad descriptions and challenges refer to the 2023 setup, not how either club looks today.
Choose Sunderland for a Championship promotion project
Sunderland begins in the Championship, making the climb shorter than a League Two save. The suggested challenge is to shape a young group into a team capable of returning to the top flight. It suits players who want meaningful squad development while beginning relatively close to promotion.
Choose Wrexham for a longer League Two climb
Wrexham starts in League Two, so reaching the Premier League means progressing through several divisions. The 2023 guide highlighted the club’s large squad and the expectations around it. This is the longer-term option for players who enjoy building a side across multiple promotions.
