Football Manager 26 Mobile is available on Android through Netflix and requires an active Netflix membership; the official launch date was November 4, 2025. Its mobile-specific highlights include carrying a save over from FM24 Mobile, a FIFA World Cup 2026 challenge and the Low Block tactical option. You can play offline after installing, but Netflix says careers are not cloud-saved, so uninstalling or changing devices means starting over.
How to get Football Manager 26 Mobile on Android
FM26 Mobile is a Netflix-member exclusive, not a separately sold Android game in the official sources. Download it through Netflix, with an internet connection for installation, and keep an active membership to play. Football Manager announced the wider FM26 release for November 4, 2025, with Mobile scheduled for launch day. Football Manager’s launch announcement gives the date; the official FM26 product page identifies Mobile as a Netflix edition.
- Check that the Android device is compatible with the game in the relevant store or Netflix app.
- Install Netflix and sign in with an active membership.
- Find Football Manager 26 Mobile in Netflix and download it while online.
- Launch the installed game. Netflix says it supports offline play after installation.
Netflix recommends Android 9 or later generally for Netflix games, while noting that requirements vary by game. SEGA troubleshooting also references Android 9. Neither is a guarantee that every Android 9 device will run FM26 Mobile; check compatibility for the specific handset or tablet. Netflix’s games help page explains the general requirements, and SEGA’s FM26 Mobile FAQ covers game support.
What is new in the Mobile edition?
The Mobile-specific showcase identifies three notable features:
#1 Best Overall
- YOUR CONTENT, SUPER SMOOTH: The ultra-clear 6.7" FHD+ Super AMOLED display of Galaxy A17 5G helps bring your content to life, whether you're scrolling through recipes or video chatting with loved ones.¹
- LIVE FAST. CHARGE FASTER: Focus more on the moment and less on your battery percentage with Galaxy A17 5G. Super Fast Charging powers up your battery so you can get back to life sooner.²
- MEMORIES MADE PICTURE PERFECT: Capture every angle in stunning clarity, from wide family photos to close-ups of friends, with the triple-lens camera on Galaxy A17 5G.
- NEED MORE STORAGE? WE HAVE YOU COVERED: With an improved 2TB of expandable storage, Galaxy A17 5G makes it easy to keep cherished photos, videos and important files readily accessible whenever you need them.³
- BUILT TO LAST: With an improved IP54 rating, Galaxy A17 5G is even more durable than before.⁴ It’s built to resist splashes and dust and comes with a stronger yet slimmer Gorilla Glass Victus front and Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer back.
- FM24 Mobile save carry-over: the showcase describes transferring a save from FM24 Mobile, giving returning players a route to continue a career. The source does not detail every eligibility condition, so check the in-game transfer flow and current support guidance before relying on a particular save.
- FIFA World Cup 2026 challenge: a tournament-themed challenge built around the 2026 competition.
- Low Block: a new tactical option highlighted for Mobile.
These points are specifically described for the Mobile edition in Football Manager’s FM26 Mobile feature showcase. The broader FM26 product page also discusses changes such as women’s football and a reimagined interface, but the Mobile showcase does not establish that every wider-suite feature is included in Mobile. Treat those as broader FM26 claims, not confirmed Mobile features. The official page further says FM26 Mobile was the only title in the suite not switching to Unity at that time.
Offline play and the save-loss risk
Netflix says FM26 Mobile can be played offline once installed, but it does not use cloud saves. According to Netflix’s game-specific support page, uninstalling the game or playing on a different device means starting from the beginning.

Can you still download FM24 Mobile?
SEGA’s FAQ says FM24 Mobile was no longer available from November 4, 2025. Store availability can change, so check the current listing in your region rather than assuming an old download page will still install the game. The FAQ is the source for the stated cutoff: SEGA FM26 Mobile FAQ.

Mobile is the natural choice if you want to manage on an Android phone or tablet and already have Netflix access. The trade-off is its membership-based distribution and the need to protect a locally stored career from uninstalling or switching devices. If you are comparing it with PC, console or Touch, compare the platform and access model, controls and depth, and confirm features edition by edition: the official material cited here does not provide a complete side-by-side feature matrix.
