The Fortnite black-hole minigame was a brief Easter egg on the Chapter 1 Season X blackout screen in October 2019. Players could enter the Konami Code to launch a small Space-Invaders-style game. The original screen is not established as playable in 2026, so the code below is a historical guide—not a current live-game feature. GamesRadar and Eurogamer documented the 2019 steps.
What was the Fortnite black-hole minigame?
During the blackout after the Chapter 1 Season X finale, Fortnite displayed a black-hole holding screen. A hidden code on that screen opened an arcade diversion: players controlled a Pizza Pit pizza slice and fired at Durrr! Burger head enemies. Contemporary guides also described a Durrr Burger boss that attacked with pineapples. It was a playful distraction, not a way to resume Battle Royale during the blackout. GamesRadar and Eurogamer reported the game details in 2019.

On the black-hole screen, enter this directional sequence, then use the ending for your input method:
Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right
| Input method | Ending | Source |

| Keyboard | B, A, Enter | GamesRadar, 2019 |
| PlayStation 4 controller | O, X, Options | GamesRadar, 2019; Eurogamer, 2019 |

The final cell attribution for Switch is GamesRadar, which reported that variant. These are 2019 instructions for the original holding screen; they should not be expected to work in the current Fortnite lobby.

How did the minigame play?
Move the pizza slice and shoot at the incoming Durrr! Burger heads. GamesRadar described left-stick movement and firing with X on PlayStation or A on Xbox. It also reported unlimited lives and a Durrr Burger boss that fired pineapples. These details describe the 2019 diversion, not a currently confirmed game mode. Eurogamer’s 2019 guide also covered the minigame.
What did the 92,786 score mean?
GamesRadar reported in 2019 that Peely held the leaderboard’s top score at 92,786 points. The guide said beating it did not appear to trigger anything; the number was a reported in-game leaderboard mark, not an official Epic statistic or a documented reward threshold. GamesRadar, 2019

Can you play it now?
The sources documenting the original Easter egg do not establish that the 2019 black-hole screen or its Konami Code minigame remains available in 2026. Fortnite does currently list a separate community-created island called Black Hole, by nebula_n, with island code 1502-3971-1708. Its official listing describes it as a recreation of the blackout and tells players to search for it in Fortnite. That listing does not show that the original hidden minigame has returned.
