If it still cannot be found, check your Epic account and Locker filters before contacting Player Support.
How to unarchive a back bling in Fortnite
- Open Locker.
- Select Back Bling.
- Open Sort & Filter, set the filter to Archived, then select Apply.
- Choose the back bling and open its options.
- Select Unarchive Item.
Epic’s Archive support instructions say archived items remain on your account and can be unarchived. Archiving hides an item from the usual Locker view; it does not delete it.
If the back bling still does not appear
Before treating the problem as a display bug, work through the checks in Epic’s missing-item support guide:
- Confirm you are signed in to the Epic account that acquired the cosmetic.
- Clear any active Locker filters that could hide it.
- Check whether Epic sent a message saying the item was removed.
- Apply the Archived filter in the Back Bling category again and look for the item there.
If these checks do not locate it, Epic directs players to Player Support.

Is this a known Fortnite bug?
A November 2023 community post reproduced a response attributed to Epic Player Support that called archived back blings not appearing and being impossible to unarchive a known issue at that time. The reported reply said there was no estimated fix date and that Epic would update its official channels after a fix. This is a historical, secondhand quotation, not a current status announcement. See the community post reproducing the reply.
Epic’s current support pages document the normal archive workflow and missing-item checks, but they do not establish whether that back-bling-specific issue is still occurring or offer a platform-specific workaround. The historical report also does not establish a safe cache-clearing procedure or a fix that works across platforms.

What “missing” can mean
A back bling can be hard to find because it is archived, hidden by a filter, associated with another Epic account, or removed by Epic. Back bling is a cosmetic category that can be selected independently of an outfit, even when it was acquired with one; Epic explains the cosmetic category in its Back Bling support information.
