What was Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix?
Chapter 2 Remix was a short Fortnite season built around a return to the Chapter 2 island. Epic described the island as “remixed and reimagined”: rather than simply restoring the old map unchanged, the season altered locations and loot as it progressed. Music collaborations shaped the featured landmarks and character encounters.
The season ran from November 2 through November 30, 2024, and ended at 10 PM ET. Its concluding event was Remix: The Finale. Epic’s season announcement and its detailed update notes describe the season and its rollout.
Which artists took over Fortnite locations?
The featured locations changed over the season, moving from a Snoop Dogg headquarters to Eminem’s restaurant, an Ice Spice-themed island and a Juice WRLD tribute landmark.

How did the map change?
The Doggpound replaced the Agency
In week one, the Agency compound became The Doggpound, a headquarters themed around Snoop Dogg. The takeover was more than a name change: Snoop appeared as a boss encounter, with a Mythic Drum Gun as the defeat reward and the option to recruit him as an ally.
Mom’s Spaghetti brought Eminem to the Grotto
Week two put Eminem’s Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant in the Grotto. Defeating Eminem awarded the RG Minigun and allowed players to recruit him as an ally.

Ice Isle gave Shark Island a Y2K mall look
For week three, Shark Island became Ice Isle, an abandoned mall accented with neon and Y2K styling. Ice Spice’s encounter offered two Mythic items: her Grappler and Rifle.
WRLD Point marked the final week
The fourth week introduced WRLD Point as a tribute to Juice WRLD and built toward the season’s November 30 finale. Epic’s initial announcement also described a limited login window for the Slayer Juice WRLD Outfit. That was a past, time-limited offer—not a reward established as available now.

What rewards and pass were part of the season?
Epic said the 2024 Remix Pass included over 70 new in-game rewards. It cost 950 V-Bucks at the time, or was included with Fortnite Crew. Those are historical details from the season, not current availability or pricing. The season’s outfits, pass and event rewards were digital, time-bound content.
Epic’s announcement included Ice Spice describing the collaboration: “Getting the chance to come to the game and remix the Chapter 2 map is unreal. It’s exciting to be a part of something so iconic, and I can’t wait for players to experience this new vibe. Fortnite is all about creativity and connection, and I’m hyped to bring my own spin to it!”

Epic also quoted Snoop Dogg on bringing his music and style into the game: “Being part of Fortnite is all about creating, playing, and sharing my music and culture with the next generation. My son Cordell’s a big Fortnite player with me, so when we had the opportunity we jumped on it as a new way to connect with my sound and style. Anyone can be Snoop in Fortnite.”

Nintendo’s November 13, 2024 article, presented by Epic, said Fortnite was free to download and play on Nintendo Switch at that time. That platform note does not make Chapter 2 Remix available again, and it should not be read as confirmation of current platform support or device compatibility.
How many people played Chapter 2 Remix?
The cited official season announcement and update notes do not give a named audience, attendance or engagement figure for Chapter 2 Remix. Epic’s “over 70” figure refers to Remix Pass rewards, not players or reach.
