Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, titled Myths & Mortals, added four Greek mythology-themed named locations to the island: Mount Olympus, Grim Gate, The Underworld, and Brawler’s Battleground. This is a historical look at that season’s map, not the current Fortnite island map.
What changed on the Chapter 5 Season 2 map?
The season brought four new named points of interest (POIs) to the Chapter 5 island. Their themes and boss encounters drew on Greek mythology, from Zeus atop Mount Olympus to Hades’s Underworld. The island also retained a number of existing named locations.

No. Chapter 5 Season 2 was the 2024 season Myths & Mortals, and its Battle Pass progression ended May 24, 2024, at 2 AM ET. Epic Games’ official season announcement search excerpt gives that deadline and says: “The Myths & Mortals Battle Pass will be available to progress in until May 24, 2024, at 2 AM ET.” The date marks the end of that season’s progression window; the map shown here is historical.
