Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4’s Absolute Doom Battle Pass featured eight headline outfits: Gwenpool, War Machine, Peelverine, Emma Frost, Captain Jones, Mysterio, Shuri, and Doctor Doom. Gwenpool was the immediate outfit unlock; Doctor Doom arrived through Battle Pass Quests later in the season. The pass also contained other cosmetics and V-Bucks, but the available published descriptions do not establish a reliable item-by-item tier list.
Which outfits were in the Absolute Doom Battle Pass?
Epic’s August 16, 2024 launch announcement named seven headline outfits: Gwenpool, War Machine, Peelverine, Emma Frost, Captain Jones, Mysterio, and Shuri. Doctor Doom was the eighth headline character associated with the pass, but Epic said his outfit would be earned through Battle Pass Quests in September rather than unlocked with the initial lineup. Epic’s Absolute Doom announcement provides the launch details.

- Gwenpool: Unlocked immediately when players got the pass. Her description included the line, “I played the Galactus Event. That makes me an Avenger, right?”
- War Machine, Peelverine, Emma Frost, Captain Jones, Mysterio, and Shuri: The other outfits named in Epic’s launch announcement as Battle Pass characters.
- Doctor Doom: A midseason outfit earned through Battle Pass Quests in September 2024.
GameSpot’s August 15, 2024 gallery also identifies this eight-character lineup and describes bonus styles and other cosmetics. Its text does not provide usable tier positions or labels for every image, so it cannot support a complete item-by-item tier inventory. GameSpot’s Absolute Doom rewards gallery additionally notes that some weekly quest rewards, certain Doom rewards beyond the outfit, and super-level styles were hidden at launch.

The official launch post gives the headline outfits, price, progression methods, and deadline—not a full tier inventory. The available gallery text names the characters but does not identify each pictured cosmetic or its tier. Because of that, listing the eight outfits as “all rewards” would be misleading: the pass also included other cosmetic types and V-Bucks, and some rewards were tied to quests or later bonus progression.

The supported reward categories are:
- Headline outfits: The seven named at launch, plus Doctor Doom’s later quest-based outfit.
- Other pass cosmetics: The season included cosmetics beyond outfits, but a complete item list and tier mapping are not established by the published text cited here.
- Quest rewards: Doctor Doom’s outfit and other quest rewards were associated with progression during the season; not all were visible in the launch-day gallery.
- Bonus and super-level styles: Additional styles were available beyond level 100, with some not shown at launch.
- V-Bucks: Epic said leveling the pass could earn players back up to 1,500 V-Bucks.
What did the pass cost, and how did progression work?
Epic listed the Absolute Doom Battle Pass at 950 V-Bucks and said players could earn up to 1,500 V-Bucks back by leveling it. XP from Fortnite Battle Royale, creator-made islands, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival could advance the pass. These are historical details for the 2024 season, not an offer to buy or progress that pass now. Epic’s launch announcement states the cost, earn-back amount, and XP sources.
When did Chapter 5 Season 4 progression end?
Epic’s stated final time to progress the Absolute Doom Battle Pass was November 2, 2024, at 2 AM ET. That deadline has passed; the old pass cannot be resumed for additional progression. Epic’s current support guidance says XP from any Fortnite experience advances all active passes simultaneously, but that general rule does not make an expired pass active again. Epic Support’s pass-progression explanation covers the current general system.

Can Absolute Doom rewards return to the Item Shop?
Some items from passes beginning with Chapter 5 Season 4 may be offered in the Fortnite Item Shop after 18 or more months from the pass’s expiration. Epic does not guarantee that any particular item will return, so that policy is not a promise that a named Absolute Doom outfit or cosmetic will appear. Epic Support’s previous-pass policy explains the conditional return possibility. Epic’s current Battle Pass help page also describes the 18-month-or-more window and notes that alternate-style availability can vary: What is the Battle Pass?
Epic says Battle Passes are purchased in-game and its support answer does not offer access to previous passes. A possible future Shop appearance is separate from restarting the expired pass: it depends on Epic making an individual item available.
