Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 had 18 named locations on its island. This is a historical map reference, not the current Fortnite map: Epic announced the season on December 1, 2024, and said it ended February 21, 2025, at 2 AM ET. The map image below shows the POIs’ positions; the list gives their names.

What Epic said about selected areas
Epic introduced the island as a setting shaped by cherry blossoms, spiritual forces and timeworn magic. Its December 1, 2024 launch announcement describes several locations and landmarks:

- Flooded Frogs: a place to train.
- Shogun’s Solitude: a place to face foes.
- Seaport City: a dense commercial district.
- Shining Span: a connection to nearby villages, including Canyon Crossing.
- Magic Mosses: overgrown terrain with obelisks and underground treasures.
- Nightshift Forest: a forest where the sun does not shine.
Epic also described The Great Turtle, a venerable creature searching for its partner. It is a map feature, not one of the 18 named locations in the list above.

Season-specific map gameplay
Some encounters affected how players moved around the island, but they describe Chapter 6 Season 1 mechanics rather than promises about the current game. Epic said Shogun X roamed the island gathering spirit energy; defeating him awarded the Wanderer Medallion, which granted infinite stamina and invisibility while sprinting. Night Rose dropped the Night Rose Medallion when eliminated, making weapons reload themselves.
