The season launched on June 8, 2025, with eight outfits total: the two DC heroes and six original Fortnite characters. The early reports did not confirm every rumored identity or whether similar-looking characters were separate outfits.
What the pre-launch leaks showed
Before Epic officially revealed the Battle Pass, Dexerto reported on June 6, 2025, that leaked information pointed to Superman and Robin as pass characters. The report said Superman’s look resembled David Corenswet’s portrayal in James Gunn’s then-upcoming Superman film. Robin’s specific identity, however, was speculation, not a confirmed character identification. Dexerto’s pre-launch leak roundup also cautioned that five characters in similar uniforms might be separate heroes or alternate styles.
A separate June 5 report by Fortnite News said an early promotional image came from an official mobile promotion asset Epic had added to Fortnite’s API. That image showed Superman, Robin, and two original superhero designs. Its reported provenance supports what was visible in that image; it did not establish every other rumor about the pass. Fortnite News’ report on the image covered that early glimpse.

At launch, GameSpot reported Robin as the immediate outfit unlock for players who purchased the pass. Superman was the bonus outfit, with quests providing the normal unlock path later in the season. GameSpot’s June 7 guide listed the standard pass at 1,000 V-Bucks and the Battle Bundle at 2,800 V-Bucks at publication; these are historical prices, not current pricing. GameSpot’s June 8 launch coverage and its June 7 Battle Pass guide described the unlocks and prices.
