Epic has not confirmed Chapter 7 Season 1 return dates for Blitz or Reload, nor published a forward schedule for those modes. Fortnite OG is different: Epic said it would be available “every day,” but its announcement does not establish a Chapter 7 Season 1-specific downtime or return calendar. Check Epic’s current in-game schedule and official channels for changes; a Battle Pass season-end date is not a mode-return date.
Are Blitz and Reload returning during Chapter 7 Season 1?
No exact return date for either mode is confirmed in the official Epic sources reviewed. They also do not establish a repeating Blitz or Reload schedule for Chapter 7 Season 1. A mode-related news post can confirm an update without setting the next time the mode will be playable.

Epic’s official news index includes updates dated as recently as October 1, 2026. Its Reload news index lists “Join the Elites in Fortnite Reload: Elite Stronghold,” dated April 20, 2026. These are published updates, not a prospective return calendar: Epic’s Fortnite news and Reload news.
Is Fortnite OG always available?
Epic’s December 5, 2024 announcement said Fortnite OG was returning “and always on, every day.” The announcement presented OG as a return to Chapter 1 Season 1 with its original map, loot, and gameplay. It supports describing OG as an always-on mode in that announcement, but it does not give a Chapter 7 Season 1-specific downtime or return schedule. Read Epic’s Fortnite OG announcement.

The same announcement said the first OG season was scheduled to end January 31, 2025, at 2 AM ET. That was a historical deadline for the launch OG season, not a Chapter 7 Season 1 return date for OG, Blitz, or Reload.
What Epic has confirmed about the Chapter 7 Season 1 context
Epic’s support article identifies Pacific Break as Chapter 7 Season 1 and explains that Gold Bars reset between matches and can be dropped. That establishes the season context, but says nothing about the return dates of Blitz, Reload, or OG. See Epic’s Gold Bar support article.

Where to check for a confirmed date
- Check the in-game schedule. Look for a dated mode listing or announcement in Fortnite. A date shown there is more relevant to a mode’s availability than the season’s Battle Pass deadline.
- Check Epic’s Fortnite news and official social channels. Look for a dated announcement that names the mode and the return date; Epic says updates about season dates are shared through official social channels.
- Confirm what the date refers to. A Battle Pass end date, an update announcement, and a mode’s return date are different things. Treat a date as confirmed only when an official announcement or current in-game schedule explicitly connects it to that mode.
Epic says the current season end date appears on the Battle Pass web page and in the in-game Battle Pass tab. Its support guidance warns that unforeseen factors can change season end dates. That date is useful for season timing, but it should not be used as a substitute for a Blitz or Reload rotation date.
