Launch-era guides named ten Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 NPCs and the POIs where they could be found. Five were listed as hireable specialists; the rest offered match-variable services or quests. This is a historical Season 1 guide, not a current-season roster, and the available guides do not establish the definitive season-end NPC count.
NPC locations and reported offers
Use each named POI as the main navigation anchor. Guide descriptions of exact buildings and nearby landmarks sometimes conflict, so treat those details as clues rather than guaranteed coordinates.
| NPC | POI | Reported location within the POI | Reported offer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Carina | Battlewood Boulevard | On a house rooftop; another guide places her near the northeast corner. | Supply Specialist hire for 600 Gold. |
| Carter Wu | Latte Landing | Outside a cabin; another guide points to buildings near the center. | Heavy Specialist hire for 600 Gold. One source spells the name “Carta Wu.” |
| Cat Holloway | Humble Hills | Reported in an open area or inside a house near the south end. | Medic Specialist hire for 600 Gold. |
| Dummy | Ripped Tides | Near a small hut; another guide places him near the road, slightly north of the POI. | Random services in some guides; also associated with the Battle Bus questline. Service details vary. |
| Heroic Hope | Classified Canyon | Inside a building, reported near the west end. | Random services in some guides; another launch guide says no items. |
| Kingston | Bumpy Bay | In the general area; Prima Games specifies the pier near the west end. | Medic Specialist hire for 600 Gold. One guide noted a character-collection discovery issue at launch. |
| Miles Cross | Painted Palms | Outside a garage; another guide says inside a central building. | Heavy Specialist hire for 600 Gold. |
| The Bride | Sandy Strip | Inside a white building; another guide places her in a building near the north end. | Random services; guides also report a free-Gold questline. |
| Unpeely | Wonkeeland | In the amusement park or around the middle of the POI. | Random services or no fixed items, depending on the guide. |
| Vengeance Jones | Innoloop Labs | On top of the lab or on a rooftop near its northeast end. | Random services or no fixed items, depending on the guide. |
The named NPCs and POIs are the most consistent details across the launch-era guides. Fine-grained directions and some service descriptions are less consistent. Insider Gaming, AltChar, Prima Games, and additional launch coverage differ on some of those details.
Which NPCs hire as specialists?
Insider Gaming and AltChar list five NPCs as hireable specialists. Their guides report a 600 Gold hire price and say the specialist follows the player for the match, providing support according to class.

What can random-service NPCs offer?
Insider Gaming and AltChar report four possible match-variable services: a free Gold reward based on match performance, a Rift, an ammo restock, or health and shields. Those two guides list 500 Gold for a Rift, ammo restock, or health and shields, and describe the Gold reward as free. Prima Games reports 600 Gold for some of the same services and mentions additional possible options, so the service prices are not consistent across guides. Treat the 500 Gold figures as source-reported rather than universal prices.

Three guides converge on the ten named characters listed above. Launch coverage also reported an unrevealed or hidden NPC, while another guide initially gave a larger count. The available reporting therefore supports a ten-character named roster in those guides, but does not verify the final total for the whole season.
