Where to find the Tannis cutout
- Open the map and travel to The Howl in The Fadefields.
- Head to the southwest edge of The Howl, toward the Coastal Bonescape border.
- Follow the shoreline until you find a small gazebo with colored barrels around it.
The documented location uses the gazebo and water’s edge as landmarks; no precise map coordinate or named fast-travel point is established. PowerPyx’s walkthrough, published September 12, 2025, gives the location and route, while Gamer Guides independently corroborates the general location (PowerPyx walkthrough; Gamer Guides achievement guide).

Barrel order for the “Cut That Out” objective
- Green
- Light blue
- Red
- Dark blue
- Yellow
Shoot one barrel of each color in sequence. The Tannis cutout then emerges from the water, completing the objective associated with the “Cut That Out” trophy or achievement. The sequence is described in PowerPyx’s walkthrough; its trophy roadmap also places the activity in southwest The Howl near the Coastal Bonescape border (PowerPyx trophy roadmap).
If the cutout does not appear
- Check that you are at the shoreline gazebo in southwest The Howl, rather than another area near the boundary.
- Repeat the sequence carefully from green through yellow, making sure not to skip or reorder a color.
- Watch the water after the final barrel for the cutout and achievement trigger.
The available walkthroughs establish the location and sequence, but do not specify campaign prerequisites or explain achievement-trigger edge cases. No platform-specific differences are documented, so these directions should not be read as a guarantee about when the activity becomes available during the campaign.
