Disney announced Disney Villains characters and skins coming to Fortnite at its D23 presentation on August 10, 2024. Fortnite’s shop listing names Captain Hook, Maleficent, and Cruella de Vil in the Disney Villains Bundle. The official sources cited here do not confirm that a leaked Fortnitemares trailer revealed the skins.
What the reported trailer claim gets right—and what remains unverified
The title’s “leaked trailer” wording should not be treated as confirmed provenance. Disney’s August 10, 2024 D23 announcement supports the Fortnite collaboration and says Disney Villains characters and skins were coming to the game; it does not say they were revealed by a leak or identify the villains by name. The official shop listing supplies those names, but it does not authenticate a trailer.
Disney framed Fortnite as part of a broader partnership with Epic Games, describing a connected universe where fans can watch, play, and create Disney stories. That context establishes the collaboration, not the status or authorization of any particular trailer. Disney’s D23 Horizons press release, August 10, 2024.
Which Disney villains are listed for Fortnite?
The Fortnite Item Shop listing for the Disney Villains Bundle names three outfits:

The same listing associates the bundle with cosmetics including Hook’s Flag, Maleficent’s Raven, Maleficent’s Scepter, Haute Handbag, De Vil’s Grille, and the Tick-Tock emote. These are digital Fortnite cosmetics, not evidence of a physical product. Epic’s indexed listing gives a purchase-until date of September 25, 2026, but the listing page itself could not be verified directly; current shop availability should therefore not be assumed. The Disney Villains announcement and Fortnitemares are not interchangeable. Epic’s separate Fortnitemares 2025 announcement described an event running October 9 through November 1, 2025, with Jason, Wednesday Addams, Scooby-Doo, and Ghost Face among its horror roster. That announcement does not establish a connection between those event details and the 2024 Disney Villains bundle. Epic Games: Fortnitemares 2025.
