The right choice depends first on your console: the cited PDP Riffmaster is the PlayStation 5 / PlayStation 4 version, while CRKD sells Gibson Les Paul controllers in multiple platform variants. A source article reported Prime Big Deal Days offers on October 6, 2026—$89.99 for the Riffmaster and discounts of up to 30% on CRKD controllers—but those are dated sale claims, not confirmed current prices.
Does a guitar controller work with Fortnite Festival?
Yes. Epic says supported controllers, including guitar controllers, can play Fortnite Festival’s Pro Lead and Pro Bass parts. A guitar controller can also be used for non-Pro parts, including vocals. Compatibility depends on the specific controller and platform; a guitar that works on one console should not be assumed to work on another or on PC.
Make Pro parts appear
Epic support says Pro Lead and Pro Bass should appear after a supported guitar is connected and you select an instrument part. If you want Pro parts to remain visible, the game also includes an “Always Display Pro Parts” setting. See Epic’s instructions for playing Pro Lead and Pro Bass.
